World War I and II stimulated industrial and economic growth back in the 20th century, but the same isn't true anymore. The United States was haemorrhaging money during the Iraq War, something like $1 billion a week. A bloated defense budget contributed to the economic collapse we're still feeling the effects of today.

I saw on the news that Kim Jong Il's son was recently appointed general of the North Korean army, and he ordered those maneuvres just to prove he meant business. So basically 4 people died because he felt like waving his dick around. Fucking asshole.

I just realized something. What consequences will the incident between North and South Korea have for John? I mean, if North Korea fucks up again, South Korea promised to retaliate. China, North Korea's biggest ally, wouldn't like that. Then Japan and the United States would have to get involved. Damn. I would really like to avoid World War III.

I couldn't help but notice that you have "Richmond Hill < NO ONE PLAYS BB HERE" as your location, and I have to say, it made me laugh. :razz: Have you heard of Lovegety Station? It's arcade in Richmond Hill with BB:CS and an extremely active community.

I definitely know Kirbster, just didn't know him by name, thanks. And that expected turnout is pretty damn good all things considered, your scene is still pretty young. I want the NAHs to come out in full force though, if I can travel 5 - 6 hours to play you guys, they can make the trip too. :razz: As far as planning goes, do you guys of any hotels fairly close to the venue? I'd appreciate it!

Toronto's BB community is going to be making an appearance at Nemesis II, with me as its sole rep. :razz: I love the Montreal community, I love the city and since you guys came out for T11 I want to show my appreciation by making the trip down. I'm watching that IaMP tutorial on Youtube and I'm impressed with the diverse array of mechanics I've never seen before in any other game. I guess like with anything else, if you want creativity, you'll have to look to the underground/independent scene.

I'll be going to MTLSF Nemesis II if everything pans out to rep Toronto. Also, here's in-game footage of that Umineko fighting game, I'm surprised that I actually really like the art.

I'm not even one of the best players, I came 5th at T11. Yeah, we're pretty beast, the best players are GG vets that have been playing for 6 - 8 years. We've also been playing BB in general since November 2008.

Excellent, thanks for letting me know. And I don't really play Hakumen as much anymore, I'll be going Tager exclusively at the tournament. I'm definitely open to lots of casuals and money matches, if anyone's interested.
