  1. Damn. I lost all of my information that I posted on kusogekings while they transferred to their new domain. I guess I will try to slowly post what I wrote about the game over there. So far I've notice that this game has some really strong defense options that you can use to shutdown pressure, such as these options: a) Canceling out of block stun -For some reason in this game you can cancel out of block stun with EX moves, Voltage Burst or supers. You simple just input those attacks after blocking. b) Just Defend Counter -Hit D after a successful JD and you will get a completely invincible attack coming out of block stun. I've tested the JDC with quite a few characters and they can punish a lot of moves, even 5A/2A which are really fast in this game. c) Just Defend Counter Cancel -Basically you do a JDC and cancel it quickly into an EX. It's sorta nice because you can do some damage straight out of a JD, but using JDC is good enough to get out of pressure. The input is 4~D~EX move and the timing for JDCC is a bit strict. These options are unfortunate, as they help promote IMO a game that already favors players to play at neutral. I don't have a problem with games that emphasize that but the problem is that Mindarms does it in a very boring way, thanks to the fact that combos are quite limited in this game and that traditional resets and okizeme off of combos don't exist for the most part. That is all due to how the recovery system works in this game. Due to these system features, you are left with a game where you want to zone at neutral, waiting for your opponent's recovery bar to completely refill so you can do maximum damage on them, unless you character can play keepaway or has an infinite that you can do off of a random hit.
  2. Defensively, the teleport is looks really bad since this game has halfscreen and fullscreen ground normals which you can't air block against. That is probably why I never see the move really used in that manner. However you see her teleport move used commonly on okizeme off of that mixup with condensed glow: Combo with Lynchpin ender -> Condensed gloom -> Teleport A -> j.[C] or whatever
  3. Yes, those moves appear safe on block, but whether or not you are safe to follow up with more pressure is the question, and that itself depends also on what character you are fighting against. In general, it seems that if Hilda tries to follow up with something after a blocked Revenance pillar (22A/B, the ground spike) she can be punished by some characters for carelessly throwing out moves afterwards. Merkava can definitely test her in that situation with 214A/EX and 5C. Same goes with Hilda's 623A (horizontal piercing spike that goes in front of Hilda) if it gets blocked. After Lynchpin (overhead ball that drops down) however, it seems that you can follow up with more pressure like dashing C or a block string starting with 5B. Personally, I don't think Hilda is that great of a character. She seems have some issues: 1. She does poor damage: -Rarely will you see her break past 2.8k unless she uses meter or she is in Veil Off or vorpal state. 2. She has poor defense options: -She does not have a good reversal move to keep the pressure off of her. You see players having to rely sometimes on Veil Off, which is a risky strategy. 3. Her okizeme game is quite limited because her mixup is not good: -She only appears to have decent high/low mixup off of a jump-in with j[C] and 2A, and off that teleport setup with Condense gloom (the ball in the air that fires daggers). 4. Her neutral game is vulernable against characters with high mobility: -Pixie characters like Linne and Seth seem to give her problems at neutral. They can quickly close the distance on her with their dashes, especially if they catch Hilda whiffing attacks. The match up vs Linne especially does not look like fun since she also has a projectile (Kuuga), which allows for her to approach quite safely once it is thrown out. If you are caught pressing buttons at Kuuga range, you're going to get blown up. When you see a Hilda player dominate, it's not surprising that you might think that she is super safe and has amazing pressure. Such is not the case in my opinion. Those players are simply doing a good job at predicting what their opponent is doing. Like in the match up vs Merkava, you'd think that Hilda would dominate Merkava, due to Merkava having a huge hitbox and Hilda having safer, long range attacks. However, as I mentioned earlier, Merkava has some tools to deal with Hilda's zoning game. I haven't watched too many matches, however I've seen Merkava players break through Hilda's zoning and crush her at close range. At other times I've seen Merkava players be so afraid to press buttons while being pressured by Hilda, only to eventually crumble to it. That is just my two cents.
  4. Hilda combos by boogie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMUjF1mdTzY
  5. Are we positive that this latest patch improved the netcode? I swear before this patch all the games I had were painful to play with the heavy delay presence, and I couldn't join people's lobbies 80% of the time. I'm pretty happy with how these casuals went tonight. My connection with everyone was pretty playable, finally. lol
  6. Interesting, random glitch the FB guys found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTi_IBOoOAM Hopefully it is just not a universal glitch. If so this could become a real nuisance.
  7. Review of the game in French. Specifically the author's unboxing and overall impressions of Death Cargo, and a gameplay review via video: http://www.systempixel.fr/blog/2014/0625-death-cargo/ It has links to the video codecs if you are looking for them again and simple installation instructions (don't really need French to understand them). Also, it has pictures of all the swag you get from the collection edition. Cheers.
  8. New DLC single player characters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPfifh4FNqg
  9. Playing Death Cargo with a bunch of friends probably is the best way to admire this heap of a mess. I had some laughs watching this. Good show. Now I'll just wait for the mods. Custom death rips should be easy to do.
  10. Yeah. This guy has a few songs ripped: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1GjxA6RbaI No HANKEI though. Best stage music in the game IMO.
  11. Just opened my package. I purchased the collector's edition: It came with three mini-posters (Plasma, Leach and Aracno), a fridge magnet and the game. I thought it was suppose to come with the soundtrack on a CD but I guess they decided just to keep that stuff in the "extras" section of the game.
  12. Is Sophia's infinite gone too or was that removed in the previous patches?
  13. Nice preorder swag! I'm glad to see that they honored their preorders.
  14. So it looks like that Leach's T.Weapon gives you full body invincible until your meter runs out. Why are you so beast, Leach?
  15. Bump. I messed around with the game and it seems like everyone can do an infinite combo in the corner, and everyone but Silent can do a midscreen infinite. Here's the inputs for them: Fast Attack: F Lunge Attack: L Heavy attack: H T. Weapon: T Universal corner infinite: [214H > OTG 2L > 214H] x n Midscreen/wallcarry infinite: [214H > jump forward > OTG 2L > 214H] x n Leach wallcarry infinite: http://youtu.be/xzxllHkE-vA -Of course, it doesn't work on Leach or Silent. Leach corner infinite: http://youtu.be/BBxHDW6oqrI -This one made me laugh. Also note how it does huge damage. Unblockable setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btMYztLglpo
  16. From Facebook, but they also sent out this emai yesterday: They keep repeating themselves. Also, someone posted this on their Facebook page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaVyL26HNVc&feature=youtu.be
  17. Did you get two emails with the same link, Pichy? I can't try this out yet since I am away from home. I just hope Leach is playable in this build.
  18. Their facebook page says that the digital download will be released 11:30pm on May 5th, and we are suppose to get a dl link via email.
  19. We can report fraud on Paypal to possibly get our money back.
  20. Haven't these guys released two films already? That makes them more reliable than their public relations makes them seem like. I seriously doubt that Necrostorm would jeopardize their success and reputation that they have gained thru with their films, by scamming people into buying a game that does not exist. The lack of transparency with regards to the development of Death Cargo has been a huge problem and is why people are afraid that this game is a big scam, IMO. My guess is that then Necrostorm dev team isn't dealing well with the pressure with developing and shipping their game, so they have been quiet for prolong periods of time. Thus that is why the demos took a long time to come out, and why we haven't seen an official trailer yet. Why is that the case? We can only make assumptions but the obvious answers would be from having too small of a dev team and the company not specializing in developing videogames. The other job that Necrostorm has done terribly with this game, is its PR campaign. Ignoring and silencing your prospective customers on your social media pages is not how you should promote your game. It seems to me that they doing those type of actions mainly to protect their image, which sadly would not be necessary if they were more transparent about the development of the game, and weren't so pretentious and cocky overall when it comes to their personality. I think it is funny how many people are quick to judge Necrostorm and not give them some slack, on testyourmight.com. The sad part is that most of them didn't even buy the game, so I don't know why most of those people complaining or grilling Necrostorm. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if I am either getting scammed or Necrostorm ended up lying about the shipping dates and ends up shipping the game later. Either way, I think if myself and others don't get our packages in two months, then I will start worrying about getting scammed, but some people need to take a chill pill.

  22. Well if they fail to reach 10k, they will still get funded money. To which, what will they do with it? They can claim that the project failed because they did not get enough funding, and couldn't find anyone to help do the netcode independentally. Easy way to get free money? :/
  23. I didn't see on their donation page about how a fan would be compensated if he/she made the netcode for eigomanga. It would be pretty hilarious if they are hoping a fan will make the netcode for free for them so that they can keep the $10,000 for themselves.
  24. I got a confirmation email that said that my game was shipped on April 23rd. I am hoping it comes within the next two weeks, but I do not have my hopes up.
  25. Oh by the way, the OP forgot to mention that this game has netplay. I only tried it a few times yearsssss ago, vs a BR and EU player. Vs those guys, I remember my connection was pretty bad with them. We kept desync'ing in the same round and the input delay felt like 1-2 seconds off. One fault I will admit though is that we had to use hamachi. I have no clue actually if my opponent opened his ports, but I did when I hosted games and yet they couldn't connect to me. Anyway, perhaps though the netcode might perform better vs domestic opponents.
