It not being in the current Library doesn't indicate anything. A lot of the supplemental material like Night of Knives, A.B.A's and Paracelsus' first meeting, Raven's short story, huge portions of Lightning the Argent's story, among other things aren't mentioned in the Library. Heck, the Library tries to be deceptive by indicating that there are people masquerading as That Man.

Ohohoho, don't worry. As a loyal fan who follows the lore of both BB and GG, I can assure you that GG doesn't dive into the realm of insanity that is BB. Sure, we have I-NO time-travelling to create the main series' timeline, Sol ignoring a time paradox, and Raven manipulating causality due to being immortal, but the closest you get to the multi-dimensional shenanigans is Axl randomly visiting different periods in the timeline(even meeting other versions of himself; no, not Raven!). Of course, it still has its fair share of mysteries. Like why Marina had Justice's seal despite supposedly being a full human, Tyr's origins regarding who created him and what exactly he is(and why he was sealed in the Japanese Colony), what exactly is the Outrage's connection to Gears (and what the Outrage really is), the Japanese's affinity to Ki and why the Universal Will materialized in Japan (as well as what the Universal Will is), The O.P.U.S and their possible connection to A.B.A, Ky's left eye, among the other questions.

I'll try and find more if it's coherent. Y'know, it's beating a dead horse, but I hope that we can see Raven's Arcade Win Quote with Axl so we can get a better hint about what their entire deal is. So far, Ishiwatari has said that they aren't AU counterparts of one another, but it still hasn't been explained why Raven keeps repelling Axl from whatever timeline they're in whenever they come in proximity of each other. And Raven traveling with Sol and the others...man, I don't know how that's going to go since Raven makes no bones that he hates Sol and that the only reason he doesn't kill him is because he's vital to That Man's ultimate plan. As for Jack-O, I wonder if the memories she has are actually Justice's instead of Aria's. *Sighs* Revelator couldn't come out soon enough. We really need context here.

No worries, man. ^_^

He never suggested that Dizzy was a Valentine(and FenrirHades started the "Ky screwed a clone of a clone of Sol's dead lover" conversation FYI), only that like the Valentines, she's a copy of Justice/Aria, which both Crow and Paradigm confirmed in Accent Core and Overture respectively. The difference being that Dizzy is a Gear and apparently a successful replica of Justice, while the Valentines are more human-like with Gear aspects and incomplete. Not to mention Dizzy and Justice's relationship with the Outrage. The question then comes down to: Where did Dizzy come from? Since the Universal Will created the Valentines and the Variable X's, who created Dizzy? The Universal Will is out because we've seen its Aria-based clones, and they are nothing like Dizzy. P.W.A.B/Conclave is out since they were only able to make robotic replicas of Justice. Like I said, Dizzy is becoming more mysterious with each new entry.

Tuner was mentioned in Sourenga's original post.

Given that in GGXPlus and GGXX Midnight Carnival, he seemed to be as surprised and confused that she existed as everyone else, it's a mystery all right. Especially when you consider that she's supposedly more powerful than her mother, unlike the Valentines and the Justice Copies who are all deemed inferior than the original. I guess the only one could be able to answer the question at this point is Justice herself.
-
Yeah, that's kinda screwed up when you think about it. Like Ragna-levels of screwed up. O_o Oh well, at least it finally lays to rest the whole "Dizzy is Sol's daughter" nonsense.

True Enough. Mori's more popular for it, but Daisuke's the one who first introduced the whole "make a clone of the protagonist's loved one to screw with his head" trope since Overture, which came out a year before Blazblue. And if you want to going into in hindsight, Daisuke's been doing this since the original game. Which means... Daisuke is to blame for all of Mori's trolling! >_< Though, this makes Dizzy's origins into an even larger headache. Does this make her a copy of a copy of Aria? And how was she born? Why is she half-human? What's her connection to the Outrage? Daisuke's mindscrews are worse than Mori's sometimes, but at least he keeps them all within one medium and series.

Makes a lot more sense. Though, I thought the talk he had with That Man at the end of Overture gave him a clue that Justice was connected to Aria in some fashion when he was told that that they both "killed her" and Sol seemed to realize what he was talking about. Unless this implies that Sol might've killed the real Aria after he was converted since, as he's always alluded to, he can't control his destructive instincts as a Gear without his limiter. More befuddling is what this implies about Aria and the Universal Will. Is Aria possessed by the Universal Will/Merciless Apocalypse? And what do Ariels and Bedman have to with the Universal Will and Valentines? Eesh, this is getting confusing. On a side-note, I'm happy that Raven is going to be on the roster and I'm also hoping that this Tuner is actually Mizuha from GGXra.

Not to mention that if Ky had any Gear blood in him, Justice would've put him under her control a long time ago in his encounters with her. Valentine also would've attempted to do the same thing. Also, if Ky was a Gear, he would've been a full adult in only a few short years, as is the case with Dizzy and Sin. But as the Guilty Gear Xtra manga and his character profiles have indicated, he grew up at a normal pace. Everyone's always identified him as human, including Sol(and he would know better than anyone if someone was a Gear). Whatever his left eye is about, it likely has something to do with Sin since he wore an eyepatch over his eye in the Overture short stories much like Sin's. Heck, going by what Ky stated to Axus after the Red Eye reveal, he may have gained it from some experiment he partook in. Let's just wait until Revelator comes out before going too crazy with the speculation.

Those look pretty awesome.

Makoto: "SPOOON!"

What, did they give Ragna the power to summon his dead alternative timeline selves to assist him or something? I mean, it would actually be pretty cool if Ragna could screw with causality like that, but what the hell? O_o

Hazama: "I do all of the wonderful things I do because I want to see the miserable look on the faces of people like YOU when you're wallowing in despair, dismay, grief, frustration, misery...all sorts of other unpleasant nouns."

Yeah, Potemkin's mutation causes his strength to continually increase to the point where he has to wear the restraints, otherwise he could accidentally break something or hurt someone. Think of Superman's "World of Cardboard" speech and it applies pretty well to Potemkin.
-
Potemkin's not a mecha, it's just a joke that he looks like one now. According to the GG Codex, Daisuke Ishiwatari said that the suit he's wearing is a restraint device to control his strength since the collar he wore can't cut it anymore. Like Sol, he's never really fought anyone with his full strength yet, except maybe Gabriel.
-
Yeah, both her and Ky entrusted him to Sol's care years before Dizzy was sealed. It's explained in Ky's short story.

Ragna: "Restriction 666 Released. Dimensional Interference Field Deployed! Now engaging the Idea Engine. It's time I showed you the TRUE power of the Azure! Blazblue, Activate! Time to die, you degenerate son of a bitch!"
-
No, Potemkin was later seen briefly in Story Mode, interrogating Bedman with little results. Though, give Potemkin some credit. If he hadn't submitted the report regarding Bedman's teleportation ability to Gabriel(which Gabriel mentions while fighting Bedman), Gabriel may have ended up like the Assassins who were completely unprepared due to their lack of prior knowledge of Bedman's powers.

I also hope to see how they will animate Zappa, S-ko, and the other spirits if they are included in Xrd or its sequel.

Ariels is either possessed by The Universal Will or affiliated to it like Bedman. It's hinted either way. There is no direct confirmation in the Library. Elphelt describes it as a bodiless entity, which is why it sends out the Valentines to do her dirty work, and the manner of which it manifests isn't exactly possession. It caused the Y2K bug and tried to wipe out humanity with natural disasters in 1999. When it surfaced again in 2074, it created Variable X2 and X3 by extracting Justice's Prime Field DNA to assimilate reality into the Backyard. Given the manner of its actions in the past and what Bedman and Ariels are trying to achieve, I'm not 100% confident that Ariels and UW are one in the same. On the topic of Dizzy's battle attire, since she's decked out in her Vastedge dress in Xrd, well, you can forget any thoughts of her outfit being more conservative. And I personally look forward to any and all potentially awkward intro/Win quotes from Ky and Sin when she becomes playable.

Just to clear something up: The Megadeath Class Gear Hydra in the Lightning the Argent novel wasn't defeated by Sol. Ky issued an order to use a satellite laser weapon called "Last Resort" to kill the Gear after Solaria(an incomplete Command-Type Gear created by the Plackard Company) woke it up with her song. So, he promptly had the entire area nuked. The city-sized Gear that Sol blew away with a super Gunflame also appears in the GGXtra manga, not novel. Both the manga and novel chronologically take place before GGX, with the manga occurring before the novel. And to answer a previous question: Yes, like Blazblue, all side materials pertaining to Guilty Gear such as the manga, novels, short stories and Drama CDs are canon. The novel events are even mentioned in the Guilty Gear Xrd Library (though, as pointed out, it's not a complete glossary since they mentioned Sheevus and the Vitae, but forgot to bring up Solaria).

No, the Backyard destroys you UTTERLY; Mind, Body and Soul lose composition and dissipate due to the dense atmosphere of information. Normal people who go in there are, as Paradigm phrased it, turned to dust as soon as they enter inside. That was why That Man challenged Sol to a mock-fight so he could ensure that he could withstand being in there. And even after That Man gave Sol and his team his special enchantment to protect them from the worst effects, they still felt like they were suffocating while being inside there.

I think it has more to do with the fact Ragna's Blazblue is the "Body" of the Black Beast, meaning he retains its destructive capabilities and form. Nu as the Heart, presumably is what keeps the Black Beast from burning itself out from its own power. We also know that it's possibly to create a Black Beast with a suitable number of souls and a cauldron, as we see in Kokonoe's side story.
