I remember seeing in an article somewhere that the story will be broken into "P4 characters", "P3 characters" , and "Finale" so it might be a bit similar to CP.

Pershona looks pretty cool, he has a super that makes everything completely black besides the opponent. Also, I'm guessing that Blazblue thing was the special announcement.

Is there any way to follow up after 623C without RCing if Nirvana isn't nearby? So far I've just been 22Ding and using Vivace-A and then 2A. I'm getting the feeling that it may be possible to summon Nirvana sooner for a practical combo but the timing seems iffy.

I've actually gotten it to land fairly consistently on Ragna in real matches, Kagura and Relius is the problem for me because their standing hitboxes are really fucking weird. Try delaying the initial jump after the 46D a bit more.

Is it just me or does the timing for this change from character to character? I can do it relatively easy on Ragna, but for alot of other characters I keep dropping the J.2C before Nirvana recovers from 46D and can push them into me. Also, I'm assuming the j.3B+3D is entered at the very end? If I can't do it inbetween j.ABA because Nirvana hasn't recovered from 46D yet and if I do it right after that then it comes out way too late. -

Damn, transitioning from extend to CP is alot harder than I thought it would be rofl, I'm at at complete loss of what I should be doing in terms of midscreen C-O-N combos so I've just been running through challenge mode repeatedly so I can get a feel for Carl again. Any tips on what I should be learning in terms of BnBs and UB setups? -

The combo system is soooo fun, I can literally spend hours in practice mode. Anyway for the nonexistent Cait and Sith players out there, I've been messing around with this combo path a bit. Its corner only and Cait has to be set before hand with 22B after a knockdown. You can open with 2A or 5A, its up to you. 5A >5B >5C > 5B > 214D > 22B > j.5A > j.5B > j.5C > j.5D >double jump > j.5B > j.5C > j.5D > j.214D> land> 236236C > j.5A > j.5B > j.5C > j.5D> double jump> j.5B > j.5C > j.5D > j.214D Not sure if its optimal, but outside of knockdown/oki setups its a pretty damaging combo.

So how exactly does Chaos play? I know hes a puppet based character, but is it more like Carl, Relius, Eddie or Ms. Fortune? If this game ever makes it to the states, I'm going to have a hard time choosing between Hilda and Chaos :c. -
Its not going to become popular simply because it isn't a mainstream fighting game. It started out as pretty obscure so It'll most likely end up staying obscure. I mean you have exceptions like Skullgirls and Divekick, but those started out as community projects that were backed by the FGC. In other news, I'm really feeling Cait and Sith. Their combo options seem pretty lacking midscreen though.

I'm starting to question what direction they are starting to take Chie now, between toning down her oki, and nerfing her ability to get in (meteors) it seems like charge combos off 2C are going to be the focal point now. I'm excited for whatever we get though.

If Kanji's shoulder charge is a charge command, you have to be really predictable to be punished by it full screen though. I don't see it being that much of a problem unless you can be read like a tablet.

man I hope Yukari gets a new super before the loc tests are done, the one she has now doesn't make me go "wow" at it at all and looks really meh when it does hit someone.

Considering the TV world is mimicking the Tartarus and we have what appears to be a Dark Hour version of Junes. One of the unrevealed characters definitely has to be from P3.

Everyone recharges at the same rate, the more cards you have the longer it takes to get them back.

I'm probably going to stick with Chie if Ken isn't added. Being able to freeze with her sounds 2hype. On the subject on SMP combos, did they get rid of Chie's too?
