I think its a Blazblue TE, one of my friends is sending one of his old sticks to me but I haven't asked what it is exactly yet. Besides the fact that its 360 only.

Gonna try and get back into the FG scene again, anyone in the MD area know how to mod a 360 stick to be ps3 compatible and change the art? I'm willing to pay and should be at the next monthly.

Imo, the only clear nerf is Carl's inability to do solo combos. IT really stresses the fact that once you lose Nirvana, you're basically free for about 10 seconds, which can really hurt alot. Its still also week one for this game and his combos are optimized for damage or optimized for nirvana meter usage, so I expect for the 5A/6A combos to drop away soon enough once people start learning what they can do with the new 4D and 46D. Notice how people are still comboing into Cantabile only to drop it right after, its a learned muscle memory and was a staple move in Carl's gameplay and they're still getting use to not doing it when they don't have Nirvana nearby. -

Is Carl's fermata still air unblockable? With the new SMP system, I was thinking that if we combo them into a second 8D (which would cause them to immediately tech if they are holding down a button) we could do Fermata right after. If they don't tech, they get hit. If they do, they still do due to it being air unblockable. -

I'm wondering if in a CON situation or in OCN we'll be able to do Whatever>5B>2B>6B>Cantable>Tenerezza >Follow up combo. The floor bounce on airhit Tenrerezza seems pretty substantial enough for it to be a goto BnB. -

Carl was on the stream for a goodwhile, his new Nirvana move has a good bit of suction on it and was being used in place of 6D in sandwich combos for a good bit of damage (Broke 3k I believe). It also causes floor bounce on air hit and can be comboed into from 2C. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes one of our staples moves. Edit: Also looks like you can follow up catabile with 22D > 6D, gives you floor slide on hit. -
I recently had my 360 system/Arcade stick stolen as well as the last few iterations of the Blazblue series so I'm going to have to buy a new system to play CP on when the home version releases. My question is, which system is tournament standard, has a more lively netplay community and is just generally played the most overall? Or is this just something that comes down to personal taste?

Im not sure how I feel about Cantabile now, I'm pretty sure they're trying to force us to use Nirvana in order to combo off it of it instead of doing a solo combo, but with the changes, what kind of options do we have? At best I think maybe 2D into whatever combo could work, but still, seems kinda iffy. Edit: I just read the Allegretto and 6C Jump cancellable buffs. We in there now. -

If it came out for consoles, it'd definitely be PS3 exclusive, and I'm not shelling out 500+ dollars to mod my TE to be PS3 compatible and to get a PS3 + The game. A PC release is fine, it just depends on if a community is going to play it or not. Just look at GGPO. -

Im curious about how this works. One would simply need to buy the mother board and then a game kit? And they could plug a monitor into it and play it like normal? And yeah, UNIB runs on the ring edge system. Im definitely considering buying a cabinet and bringing to my area if thats how it works. -
