I'm sure I can always get 'store credit' or something for the tickets if it comes down to me getting canceled. Sadly, the higher up people in my job don't care if I have plane tickets bought or anything. If the work load for that week isn't covered, they'll cancel anyone's vacation time just to be sure work gets done. They're kind of douchebags about that, but I'm pretty sure we ought to be okay.
