Plus, the combos so far are like, 13 hits for what, 2k? If it's that low you don't even really need to do combos. Just hit random j.C enough and you do the same amount. Of course it's good to squeeze out every last point of damage you can, but it makes a bigger difference when it's 1000k from random j.C hit from Hakumen VS 5k from a full combo instead of just 1k vs 2k. Watch them end up with 20 hit combos that do 5k though. Actually wait, that totally ignores heat gain. Nevermind. :3 But my point was just saying they look easier to pick up.

Damn, so many buffed normals...

Pretty much every combo I saw so far I can do in my sleep, even the longer ones. Let me put it this way. A lot of characters in CS1 and on had necessary combos that I couldn't do without training but in this it looks like I'd be able to just pick Jin and wing it, or a bunch of other characters.

It seems like they really reduced the execution barrier for this game across the board.

Eh, aesthetics are a big part of the game so it's not unfair for it to bother people. I just hope it's just because it's not familiar and not because it's actually bad. Are you gonna make a new Haku Guide Spark? The CS one is pretty ancient at this point. Meanwhile I am furiously writing down every combo I see.

So for those of you who are familiar with the normal values, which ones are worse and which are better. Did his combo rate change?

You know, now that I think about it, couldn't you Kishuu through bursts in Extend. Or at least if it was that same situation. I guess it's good if it survived the nerfs though.

If you guard break with CT, it might hurl them up into the air like when you hit them mid combo... that might be why 6C might not be landable if it's not.

Can you land a max charge 6C after guard break in Extend and the other BBs? I think you can... so it should be the same unless they changed the time you get guard broken.

Well, if he was like in CT where he had huge damage and great counters (relatively) it would be awesome. But the reason people were disappointed was that they basically took the two fun things away, his big damage and his counters. But that actually might not be true based on how things play out since he looks like he might have some good stuff hidden in there.

Well, it's still an attack. It just has a guard break property. Like Fatal, except it breaks guard.

Crush Trigger is a move everybody has that they can do to guard break someone that uses heat. Gotta barrier block or you get broke. If I was playing this now I would be mainly going for tons of resets and 6B/low mixup to mess with their reflexes. The era of clean Hakumen play is over. It is time to embrace the scumbag inside all of us.

The other thing that jumped out at me is it's going to be murder retraining my reflexes not to try and counter at the same times I did before. I hope it doesn't mess it up too much if they end up changing it back in the version after CP.
