  2. Nah that's wrong. Omni would do it all the time against me, and it would dodge my 6Ds. You must be doing something different.
  3. I was waiting to see how long that would take to be said. :P Also what would be your safe way to gain momentum against Inferno Divider? In theory most characters can get out of any situation. It's just not going to happen because you have to play the player on oki. For Hakumen you could still do orb oki (in Extend) and then jump over any counters he does for some jump in/empty jump low throw mixup.
  4. Like Day 1 combos that someone who's just picking up the game could work off as a base. Like Jin has always had 5B(2) > 5C > 3C > Ice car. I will check out these other combos.

  8. It's because a downback input is really down + back, two separate inputs. The game sees that first back input, along with the second back, and interprets it as a backdash. It should do the same with just holding back to block and going to neutral -> back real fast.
  9. Nah, the air unblockable is important to stop people from jumping out on you all the time. Just fight Tager and other Hakumen. Crouching block 5A all day every day.
  10. There are some in betweens where skipping it torpedoes the first round's lag.
  11. I like how it looks like Tsubaki is attacking with her face. And I never got why they have multiple hitboxes over some things. Like Ragna's fist. There's already another hitbox completely covering it.

  14. It's only stupid if you can stop them. Otherwise it is just taking advantage of the weakness the opponent has.
  15. Man, I would get bored switching characters as often as you do. Too many matchups, too much effort.
  16. You should also use it for covering your rushdown. I don't remember you doing that very often.
  17. 4C and j.C are effective in this matchup. Zone Carl and hit Ada out of her attacks.
  18. That's happened to me from max 5B range. It's like Nu grabs his toe. Also grabbed from behind. I just teleport into her grasp.
  19. I'm not sure I would call that balanced -- a game where everybody is half 7/3 and half 3/7, even if it's spread evenly. That's like a game where every character counterpicks everyone else. You either get demolished or steamroll.

  21. If you're going to post, make it constructive. In fact this thread kind of served it's purpose so unless there's some reason someone thinks it needs to stay open I might as well close it. Oh, and that was not for Poultrygeist; someone else was popping off but their posts have been deleted.
  22. My friend always used to be free to throws in the corner because the green exclamation point would get cut off screen on a CRT, lol.
