  1. is anyone else getting a sudden FPS drop during the activation and deactivation of Metaworld? I'm thinking it's my laptop though. it's like the game runs at 60fps consistently until I use meta, and then it drops to like 30 FPS for about 2 seconds :<
  2. that's pretty unfortunate uhhh I'll probably get nigga ops soon

  3. yo nigga what it do

  4. I hereby claim the inactive and forbidden profile page of Kenjewma until forever

  5. ~~*!..._My Nigger_...!*~~

  6. still on jin yeah

  7. if you're going to be using 4b for mixup, you should definitely be using the 6a link or underdash 2dd...the damage pay off is just too high compared to the CT combo lol on the rare occasions that I do use 4b, I land 4b > 6a link consistently during matches as well. the hardest part is the 6a, and after that it's pretty much smooth sailing. the only time it's ridiculously hard to link is when you're RIGHT NEXT to the opponent when you start the 4b...I have never been able to land kure after that, even with 2149d. spacing like that won't happen that often though unless you're doing meaty 4b on wakeup or something. I don't know if it'll work for you guys, but I input 4 right before I do 6a (while the opponent is falling). just a small nudge, then 6a. helps out tremendously with the timing, but that's me. seemed to help out another friend I suggested it too as well.
  8. you can actually get 4.3k meterless off a clean 4b midscreen and 5kish meterless in the corner if my memory serves correctly, which isn't bad damage at all of course in the end it's use as an overhead is still pretty fail
  9. you guys meet up at #poverty irc, right? I'm kinda getting into this game but having actual people to play would be cool xd
  10. who's the chick in your avatar

  11. you rusty get @ me for a ft5 i call trolling

  12. fk hakumayne go for it though

  13. play ragna he's boring but he's like the best character for trolling online either him or you can be a champ like me and pick up jin xddd

  14. i only play him over lambda online cuz we all know online is too good 4 lambda

  15. pfft idc we got shit to catch up on

  16. ya also we need to fucking play already, when the hell are you on

  17. dj2DD's second hit will bring the opponent closer to you so that dj214D will be in range for them if they are too far from you during an air combo. djDD doesn't bring them closer, so it will cause dj214D to whiff in some situations. I just use djDD though, and only dj2DD when the opponent is too far. it doesn't really matter which you use unless the distance becomes problematic.
  18. I see I couldn't really tell from watching goro vs random hazamas since he handled them all pretty well xd

  19. I have never played a haz with lambda what's it like

  20. yo dawg litchi 2 good son

  21. I pretty much just played games with some buddies offline or online in low delay, and the adaption came naturally to me. also did a lot of studying on my character's changes and specials so that I could better understand how and when to use them. I've been in training mode A LOT in order to practice combos, blockstrings, and to practice reacting against different characters' mixups or find good ways to break out their pressure. I guess Jin's changes didn't hold as strong of an impact as some of the other cast, or I was just semi-used to him already. pretty much the only guys I've played online so far are you, Verjl (he's like my training partner since we're close and don't lag much), Yaya, and Ken (who has given up on netplay) + about 3 or 4 randoms. btw, I say you stick to Ragna. he might have some changes that feel a bit uncomfortable for you now, but he is definitely one of the stronger characters for a reason lol

  22. haha, thanks. I'm still getting used to Lambda right now though, but I'm enjoying it. I'm guessing your transition is coming along smoothly?

  23. it was a bit rough at the start, but spending some time in the hyperbolic time chamber helped me adjust to Lambda's changes. Jin came along pretty smoothly though, so I'm not too worried about him and I'm pretty satisfied with his changes as well as Lambda's. Jin feels the same as he did in CT, just with a couple of new changes and a nerf on some of his pressure. his damage is still solid in the corner (albeit not as good as it was off random hits) and he's not vastly different than he was before. Lambda is basically a nonretarded version of Nu with a couple new tools and much stricter combos, but overall I'm liking her. only thing that bothers me is the netplay...Jin is fine, but playing Lambda online is so annoying for me... even playing someone 2 hours away from me = dropped shit left and right, but I'm slowly getting used to the delay

  24. sup, how is CS treating you?

  25. okay, got it and yeah, still chilling with ken and whatnot. I'ma be waiting for you on CS son
