Darn, didn't know it was punishable with Spring Raid. On the other hand, I don't feel like blocking 2D->5A->6A->5A->6A->236D, so (sorry if the solution was posted before) how do I deal with this?

I hardly ever 2D, even as an overhead. I have a friend who abuses that move though. He uses 2D and if hit confirmed goes into 5A->6A->5A->236D. If I block it he goes with the 214D for a safe escape. But seeing as I kept getting tripped up by 2D I started practicing against it and figured out that you can easily poke it after the block with a 5B CH, then go into 3C->22C->6C->BnB.

If it does work, that'd be awesome. I hate having to mess with my combos to get damage in on Carl .

I thought you had to shorten your BnB for Carl (ie: 5D->6B->5C->236D) because he's pushed too far away.

Actually to be honest I've already stopped doing 5B->5C. When I was lurking around, I read that it was generally an unsafe string to do. And yeah, 5A->2B is something I've been using alot more lately. It probably also doesn't help that I'm fighting against a Hell Tager, who has godly timing on all of his moves. It's hard to find any player that doesn't have a blue connection to practice with.

So that's why I keep getting "Gigantic Tager'd."

Wait, "Staggering" an attack is delaying it a bit, right?

Yeah, I stopped using 3C after I realized it was a free one way trip into his Gigantic Tager. I was trying to practice throw breaks and I can only seem to tech purple throws when I see them; green ones get me every time. I gotta try that 5B anti-Tager poke sometime though. And to the person who posted the link and stuff above me, thanks, I'll take a look at it sometime soon. Edit: Ah! It's DB Aikouka. He's (I think it's a he) the reason why I started playing Noel.

I have no idea if I'm fighting Tager correctly. Basically all I do is dash and 6C->2C then dash away or use my DD if it's up. I rarely ever drive against him. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here.
