Seems like that crazy Sol whom we saw at the qualifier at Yachiyodai is Mio in the recent GameChariot matches. That IAD Sidewinder loop on Potemkin is exactly what he did, coupled with that mindless and random playing style.

Both of my matches at the qualifiers went down to the 3rd round, and were really close. I am really sorry that I let you down Mike, since I should have really won both matches. People who don't know how to play can do proper aircombo?

On some characters like Sol and Baiken, it's possible to do sj.S, land, combo into Heat Knuckles. You must hit the Slide Head at the right distance though.

Finishing that ID with 2HS is good as it buys you time to set a mat and gain some tension while Potemkin got blown away by the rocket. It's a safe way to gain tension compared to laying down mat and getting hit by random Slide Heads.

Finally got my copy of G3 DVD and my most anticipated match is Shonen VS Isa in the 5v5. It was sort of an anticlimax to me though... Shonen lost simply because he tried to SB the Mawaru, failed and got hit into a dizzy combo...

Are you addressing me? If so then after reading through that part again, I guess perhaps you should have mentioned again that the 'finals' you were referring to was the area qualifiers. Then again in your previous blog post, you did mention that the qualifers at Ikebukuro GIGO was the area qualifier, so it's just memory block on my part.
