  1. Thank you for the video. I have yet to get use to using Crush Triggers in this game. Its always a after thought in my corner block strings. This also gave me ideas on how to use items in my combos I tend to just not use any unless its mid screen combos.
  2. Is there a list of optimized 1.1 combos anywhere? I'm hitting the next stop in my BBCP character search and my Platinum damage is never getting to 4k in the corner.
  3. I'm new to Tao and i have a couple questions. Are there any tutorials for AB2 combos? What is the most effective anti-air because 6A is not working that well for me?
  4. Is it safe to say that if I want to learn this character I should look at the CS1 guide?
  5. Thank you for the help, I've been really struggling this game but Ill try and add 2B in my game. The timing for a quick 5B anti air is still lost to me but I read it can be useful.
  6. I've recently started playing CS2 after maining Arakune in CS1 and just wondering about a couple things: What is a good anti air besides 5C? After a FC 5C can you still do two dive cancels? It recently blue beat when trying it on a Tager and I wasn't sure if its just my execution. What do you do about getting rush down, I relied on IB 5A and backdash last game but it doesn't get me out of trouble consistently as it use to.
  7. Starting to have some issues with this match up, most of it is my fault for lack of air barrier blocking but I was wondering what can I do in response to a blocked 623B or 623A? I can't seem to think of a punish for these moves.
  8. I decided to pick back up Tao since I stopped playing her since CT. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for these AB2 corner combos? It is either they fly over my head after the first or second 6C or that I just can't 7 Cat2(?) fast enough or whatever timing I need to do.
  9. Curious, is there any way to combo into Lambda's AH without getting a purple throw? Actually I don't even know how to combo in it with a purple throw.
  10. I'm going to throw it up to timing cause only recently Ive been dropping this combo on the second rep. Thank you for the info on why it blue beats ill stop at 70% now. Lately I've been reading people saying to use 2B so stuff certain attacks and to be honest I never touch the move. What makes 2B so good?
  11. Lately I have been messing up my dive cancel combos in two ways and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. 1. One way is after the first dive cancel 5D the JC > J.A hits but the J.C would miss. It's starting to happen like 1/4 the time but not sure why. 2. If I hit the second dive cancel for some reason I blue beat after dive cancel 5D > JC > J.A > (blue beat) J.C > J.D am I just doing the combo wrong?
  12. Thanks for the help, I just didn't understand the buffer c notation. I was doing challenge 8 for Arakune and the one thing I don't understand for the dive into loop combo is how are they buffering a bug in the jump without j.A coming out.
  13. Can you explain the notation you put in the video cause i honestly don't really get it: [c] delay j4cd > j2c > c bug > d bug1 > d bug 2.
  14. I'm having trouble doing the J.C cross up in fever mode, I looked at the expert video and the commands got me confused how do you perform it. The combo sections says the combo is 3aa(release 1d bug) > hjC (crosses up) > j2c > 5c bug hits > 1d bug hits > 1d bug up part > loops but its not looking right to me any suggestions?
  15. Is it best to use 5A to get of pressure after a IB? I tend to sit back and pray the opponent does something extremely unsafe so I can get out when I'm in the corner.
  16. I have several questions after trying playing Tsubaki online for several hours: 1) What is Tsubaki best air to air move? I'm getting beat badly in the air and I don't think I should rely on 214x that much. 2) Can I do anything after a CH 236B? I got it a couple of times on Hazama and figured I couldn't do much with it.
  17. ^ Thank you for the help, I finally hit it. Am I suppose to memorize that height on the J.C to do this out of this specific combo?
  18. I have been trying it by doing the combo 5C, jc, j.5A, j6A, jc, J.5A, j.5C, J.2A on Ragna. I always try to cancel with J.2B and I stopped holding 2 after the initial J.2A since it was getting me nowhere instead Ive been trying to J.2B on hit then 5D. I will try the simpler combo dgowen uses and hope for the best.
  19. I honestly spent about 3 to 4 hours total on this and I can't hit 5d after a dive, Ive tried about 3 different methods with no luck.
  20. I'm trying to learn dive cancel and was wondering if I dive with j2a do I have to cancel with 5b or can I use 5c?
  21. Is there something different about Arakune's IAD compared to other characters? I can't seem to get it off as easily as I could with the rest of the cast.

  23. I'm also interested in the frame data, I don't completely understand at which point a move is safe in BB (Tekken anything less then -10 was safe). In a couple videos I noticed a Mu using 2a >2b > 5C > 2C > 63214C (sometimes left this out) and there was no punish from the opposing player. Without the 63214C it doesn't look safe so I started to believe it was just a lack of knowledge players have on Mu.
  24. I was wondering which characters must Hakumen use sj on his basic corner combo: Renka > 2C> sj.2A> falling j.2C> 2C> sj.2A> AD j.2A> falling j.C>5C >3C? So far it just seems like I can skip the first sj, and just gauge by how high the opponent is if i need to do the second sj.
  25. Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but I just recently got interested in playing Mu and after reading some of the posts on this thread I'm still confused on how should she be played. From what I'm reading she has a decent rushdown/oki game with a high ability to guard crush opponents. What block strings are you using for this and do they usually end in 63214C? Also I'm unsure what on what to do for stein placement and use. I usually stick to 5D>6D 236D since this whole style of play is confusing to me. I plan on just reading through the oki and setup thread to figure out what to do on knockdown. If anyone can point me to any other post on these subjects it would be helpful.
