He scared me too lol. If he played a bit more carefully I feel he could have taken a round and maybe even the match. Those throw counters from 5B... Good to see some more combos though like the B DP whiff midscreen.

I like how when I randomly clicked on a page here this is one part of the posts that popped up lol. Should I be scared?

I remember it mostly in his match against Satsuno. It's not CS2 speed of getting charges but he keeps up pressure while still building up his charge meter. I kinda wish I could see it more to make a more accurate assessment of it but it's one of the things I want to try out and see how far I can go with when Extend is released here.

Kuresu used it and got a pretty good amount of charge I think. Again it's an option I haven't seen used often so I'm interested in seeing what can be done with it because running away and trying to charge isn't doing any better.

The DP whiff part? You have do the j.214A as fast as you can once you're off the ground. This is a combo you have to practice to be able to use consistently in a match. If it helps, try just inputting the 623C first since you said the DP input is the one that trips you up and get used to how you press it to get it to come out, then add the j.214C once you're used the the DP motion. EDIT: It's worth noting though that you can not do the DP whiff by itself on the opponent i.e. you can't just practice 623C > j.214A(w) part and have the j.214A whiff. You have to do it as part of a combo.

The only ones I've seen who play aggressively against Tager are people who can zone him or have good pressure/mix-up. I just wait for them to do something for the most part since any other time I've tried to be overly aggressive he lol'd all over me. It all depends on how the player plays him though. If they're aggressive I usually wait and react, if they're more passive I'll carefully approach them.

I have to admit that I'm really excited to try out air mugen combos lol. But yea, it's easier to talk about her changes and discuss if we could just play her ourselves and figure out what's different instead of waiting for video footage.

Like Batousai said, the fastest way so far during neutral is j.D. But imo I also don't think they've quite found the most optimal ways to charge or found a way to take advantage of charge cancelling which I honestly believe got a buff but it's hard to tell since the only Tsubaki I've seen really do charge cancelling is Kuresu. I think that most of the Tsubakis that we've seen are still playing in a CS2-esque way so hopefully we'll start seeing new things later on. He's way too gdlk lol.

Really? Didn't know the 5BB made the timing strict. Thanks, I'll go try it out. I thought I had to delay it since the last time I inputted it with no delays I hit the opponent with j.214C but I may have done something funky beforehand.

I found that sometimes when I do 5BB > 5CC > 623C > j.236D > j.214C(w) > 6CC The opponent tends to tech out before the 6CC but other times they don't. Any reason why this happens? Do I have to delay the j.236D or j.214C more to make it consistent?

Some impressions of Tsubaki from the loketest thread. Thanks to Isuna for translating it. Tsubaki Character that has been hit by a giant nerf #2, she won't get any gauge. Combo damage is altogether lowered, her trusted [feint] 5B even got quite the [hitstop] and is hard to use. The possibilities of the bonuses of [Haseiyoku] and 3C amongst others is being researched. Will she be able to cope? The last line makes me think they're still trying things out with her but haven't found anything or if they did find something, they haven't found the most optimal way to use her tools yet atm. EDIT: The words in brackets are the words he wasn't sure about while translating.
