I wouldn't try to mash it out but rather just hit it as fast as you can. It will also help show how long it takes for the move to be registered after you hit the button to give a better sense of the timing for the move I think. Like sometimes (when I was practicing) if I tried to mash out IAD j.C, only the IAD would come out no matter how fast I mashed the j.C. If you hit them too low then the IAD j.C won't connect at all. You'll more than likely sail above them, flying on the wings of justice.

It's just in general. If it were anything more specific I would have said so. @Errol: Thanks, I'll keep experimenting and double-checking the height and whatnot to make sure I'm not trying to do it too high or low. I have a feeling they're a bit too low.

I've recently hit a small roadblock when doing IAD combos where the opponent still techs out before the 5B hits after I delay the j.CC for as long as I can. I can literally see her almost touching the ground for the j.CC but the dummy still techs out before the 5B hits. I have a feeling that it's because I'm really not delaying it as long as I think I am but I'm pretty certain since it's the same timing and everything when it does actually connect. I'm also thinking maybe I delay it too much or the opponent is a bit too high? Any help would be appreciated because it's the only thing keeping me from doing the combo consistently.

Yea in Ginseng's FAQ he says that you may be inputting the dash 22C too late if the 2C isn't even hitting, if you've gotten the DP whiff part down. It would probably be best to practice on someone with a bigger hitbox as well depending on who you're practicing it on.

Lol I used the image you had first then switched it to the whole move since the first one shows that her hitbox when it first starts up (I'm guessing) is smaller and further away when spaced well more than you would think.

I found it also helps to just practice the 623C only first then start adding the j.214A to get a feel for the motion then speeding up.

The DP whiff combo? It's one of Tsu's best combos since it puts her in a positional advantage and allows her to continue the combo for max damage and corner carry. It can pretty much be done anywhere on the screen as well. There's no real secret to the inputs. The j.214A > dash 2CC just has to be done as quickly as possible after the 623C though.

Since this has been happening often as a note when writing move notation please, please, please try to remember to put j. ###x for her air moves or say it's in the air because most of Tsubaki's air and ground moves have the same motion. The difference of whether she's in the air or the ground helps out those trying to answer questions. Not a big deal if it happens though. I'm not gonna go on a murdering rampage if it happens again.

Do you mean 236D because there is no 234D move lol. Also is this the one in the air or ground? Do you mean the combo where you launch them then go past them in the air? If so 5BB > 5CC > 623C > j. 236D > j. 214C(w) > 6CC > air combo
