He was dealt a major blow once he realized how hard it is to guard break someone in CS for Carl and was disappointed with himself after i kept sitting in the sandwich blocking until Nirvana died (I love how fast she dies now). So he went into the hyperbolic time chamber with Carl and Tsubaki to try and learn all those crazy Carl mix-ups/resets and how to not suck with Tsubaki. I have been trying to drag him out so he can practice some things in matches and learn from others but he still thinks he is too free.

sorry about not being able to come. something came up. i'll try to catch you soon for some games.

Oh. That makes sense. Everyone else I knew made their avatar look like themselves, so I said "fuck it" and made mine the complete opposite of me. i just had to be different.

You think too highly of my Nu. Once you play her, you will see my scubbiness. Just add me on PSN and I'll try to fight you next time we are both on.

Nope. I'm male. I do wonder though what brought about this weird question...

I got some experience.
I am pretty sure I won't reach level 2 before CS hits. I only try to use Nu against people I figure will beat me badly and they mostly play in player rooms, which I don't usually enter. So I have been using Tager in ranked lately, which hasn't helped me level-up at all. I'm pretty sure it has made me worse.

I found no problems against any of the AI characters with Tager. Even Score Attack was a breeze with Tager. i find it easier to beat Nu and Arakune online with Tager than with Nu. But most Nu and Arakune are horrible. If it isn't guilt making you use Tager, then you were probably seduced by the power of science. Don't worry, it isn't a bad thing. You can still lead a normal life. Probably...

I had finals and couldn't practice. And if I don't practice every other day, i turn super scrubby and it takes time to reach my previous level of awesomeness. And it seems a lot of Nu are learning Tager. I wonder if it is because of some deep guilt we have from zoning them to death...

I take the exact opposite approach you do. I will spend the entire round blocking swords looking for that one chance to deal damage, and I will turtle the rest of the match aiming for a timeout. I've never found it hard to IB Nu swords online, but I hardly ever try to do anything with it. I don't know which blockstring they are using but the most basic one has some weaknesses, which I assume you know and figure they are too hard to do. Bonus: More matches against Nu. This time Rachel. There are 6 videos of these 2 fighting so I assume you can look at the related vids to find the rest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJ8GSELPehs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knBG9x7npaw

Don't worry about it. I know how difficult Nu is to fight (I use Tager against every non-Yaya level Nu) and unless you have a shit-load of patience and blocking skills, it is an annoying fight. Plus, lag can and will be a bitch against most Nu.

Litchi vs Rachel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQo7Aw_r0-o#t=2m19s First 2 rounds were decent. Last round had Mikami(the Litchi) off her game though, as you could tell from watching the vid. I have some more vids like that I'll show you if I can remember the links.

The 3C combo I use works on Tager with stricter timing than one would assume but doesn't work on Rachel due to her weird hitbox. 3C->214A->2C->jC->j2C->j214D->5DD->6DD->2DD->jDD->djDD/dj2DD->dj214D - works on Rachel, Bang, and Tager. You need to try and make them land just outside of the gravity well so you can pick them up with the d-spam combo. 3C->214A->2C->jC->j2C->j214D->land and small dash->3C->214A->2DD->2147D(TK crescent blade)->5DD->6DD->2DD->jDD->djDD/dj2DD->dj214D -- this is what I use against Bang and Tager. More damaging combo than the other 3C ones.

My 3C one? It is character specific. It works on everyone but Tager, Bang and Rachel. Those 3 have more damaging options. Do you know the notation for it?
