IB reduces blockstun by 3 frames so it would be 20 frames of blockstun for IBing 5DD. The frames for 5D to reach its max distance is more akin to 25-ish frames. It has 12 active frames where it travels along the ground. 15 to 18 frames would be around the minimum distance of 5D.

Kagura, Terumi and Kokonoe don't count towards the percentage completed. So you have 64% of (23*30) which is about 442 and you need to add to that the number of challenges you did with Koko and Kagura to figure out how many challenges you actually did.

I guess we could play. I only play once or twice a week so it will be probably be hard to get a set in though. It's SwordOfToan I told you that I didn't want to play in a cross country connection. Our connection is not as good as it was on XBL. Do you care about fighting Tager? I need to improve my patience and reactions.

That is possible. A great example would be Rose in Ultra. A strong character will tools for everything but has really close match-ups, which none going outside of the 6-4, even against a horrible characters like Dee Jay and Dan who lack important tools. Granted it is a different game but I think it is a good example that shows that it happens.

Without knowing exactly what you are having problems with, it is hard to give tips. General tips would just be stuff like punish his attempts at using ice swords full screen whenever you can, don't let him jump cancel his pressure for free, block ice car low, ect.
-
I believe that is due to the fact that we are in hitstop if our drive hits Tager's sledge, while he isn't so we don't get a chance to cancel the drive. You have to space your drives so Tager can't hit you before you can act parser.

It's always been a level 2 projectile.

5D is too low/Spark bolt is too high is why 5D doesn't work. 6D will cancel out spark bolt.
-
You have less options in Luna mode to zone. You don't have act parsers and you can't spam gravity as much. If Tager sledges through a 5D, you have to either OD or RC, instead of being able to act parser away. You also have limited options when you are in the air. 236D becomes useless the second he gets spark bolt and single D swords have less pushback than double Ds. 6D is good but it is crouchable so you are gonna wanna do some 5D or j2Ds and Luna has worse options from them. Luna mode is nice against sledge happy Tagers though. Luna 5D also doesn't cancel spark bolt.

In Dia mode, you can try 6DD > 2DD > 4DD > 22A > stuff. In Luna, you can try 6DD > 2DD > IAD jC > j2C > stuff

Whenever you think it won't be baited. Even if he magnetizing you, you send him full screen when you burst and so you can lay down a gravity well to let the magnetism wear off.

GGs Nineball and Bloodwolf. I need to switch between Uniel and BB so a day like this doesn't happen again.

I know I still remember how to play this game, but it is hard trying to make my hands press the right buttons.

Are there spots for spectators? I would like to see this.

The air version has no invul.
-
The mook itself lists it as F, so I would guess all of the japanese players refer to it as such.

Yea. Record doing your frametrap. Play it back and make sure it works. Record it again and make sure you have the timing down. Do it over and over until you are confident you have the timing down. If you lack a training partner, your options for testing are limited so you make due with what you have.
-
Set the dummy to do your blockstring into frame trap and try to mash out of it yourself.
-
Are you using the default pad layout? There is the really basic 2B > 2CC > B lynchpin. 5B > 2C > 2B > C lynchpin is another though it is more annoying. Charged 5C > C lynchpin, dash B > C lynchpin or dash C > B lynchpin are also doable. Those are the ones I just tested out by going back to the default layout. And I like lynchpin in neutral to catch people jumping, assaulting or for getting trades.
-
I'm pretty sure the Vatista thread already has it somewhere in there but you can find out yourself in training mode due to the input display showing the frames you hold an input.

Are Hilda's normals projectiles?
-
Bursts got faster so we can no longer easily bait it.
-
Well, gravity well is one of the few moves in a Nu combo that they can definitely burst without getting baited (unless you RC). It sounds like your opponent knew how to properly burst against Nu.
-
It is confirmed that mode change was removed. However, it was never stated that it was because of difficulty. It is most likely due to the fact that since Lambda is being added to the game, it wouldn't make much sense for Nu to still have Lambda's moves.

That one does 2270. 623A > (dash) 3B > charged jC > delay j2C > 22A > 3CC > 623A > 3CC > B lynchpin does 3007. Dunno if that is optimal but I like doing combos with j2C in them and figured around 3K is a good amount of damage for a combo with Hilda.
