  1. 5C has 30+ active frames
  2. Hitting the counter is the same as them blocking. I'm surprised the Hakumen main didn't know that.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfOcVL2yhhQ
  4. I had no issues with the previous input method though. I could consistently hit 623C and never worry about a 236C coming out and vice versa. Now I have to return my pad to neutral before I input 236C. I can deal with it but I never had to do that with Nu/Lambda before so muscle memory gets in the way.
  5. I hate the input change. I now get 6C > 623C instead of 6C > 236C.
  6. Those all existed in 1.0
  7. How many matches do they have to play you before they are allowed to leave? Typically when I one-and-done or two-and-done someone, it is because I want variety and to play against a bunch of different playstyles in a short amount of time.
  8. Dash 2B/3C or a well timed D can deal with Vivace from full screen. Both Vivace lose to lows. Both Vivace are projectile invul but they do have recovery frames where you can punish them with a sword. A Vivace only has projectile invul so you can use any normal (besides 5C) to punish it. B Vivace is invul to everything but throws and lows but it has 9 frames of recovery where you can hit him with anytime. You could also yomi 236236D to beat both Vivace, provided Ada isn't in front of Carl. And you can 44/66 parser after Nirvana blocks a D sword but it is less useful than you think it would be.
  9. For Dia 4B in the corner, you can easily either do 4B > 2DD > 236D > 22A > stuff or 4B (> optional 2DD) > j214D > 3C stuff. For Dia crescent midscreen, you can go into one of the 3C > 236D~C > 22A routes after the RC.
  10. GGs Psykotik. I have no idea why I put myself through that. I learned Mu specifically for that match-up but I just felt like I needed to win with Nu. At least I was less free near the end of the set.
  11. Guess I should put some work into this
  12. This is on a Saturday now? Can I be a reserve for gamefaqs then?
  13. I couldn't find Ragna players in Extend either. I've pretty much been fighting the Hakumen and Tao armies.
  14. GGs to Tesnologic earlier. It took a long time but I finally got some CP Valk match-up experience.
  15. GGs to the UK room. It was enjoyable watching those matches.
  16. A mod shouldn't contributing to off topic posts Mac. But this hitbox is the reason why:
  17. How do you guys even get a CH with a 30 frame move with no invincibility?
  18. Don't respect the frog unless it is set up during oki. Nu's dash is fast enough where you can just dash right past the frog while activating it and it will completely whiff. You can also dash into the frog to activate it and then IAD back to avoid the electricity and be in a position to stop Rachel's approach. Or try to throw her. Even if she techs, the frog disappears. And frog summon is easy to punish. Frog summon is 49 frames, which is more than enough time to D her. The air summon can be stuffed with 6D/2D easily in most cases as well. As for getting out of the corner, you have CA and burst. OD > sword super is also decent since it's plus on block but it burns a lot of resources. If you wanna frustrate the Rachel player, you could try barrier and instant barrier at random times to mess up their blockstring timings since Rachel is execution heavy. If they are just auto-piloting their blockstrings, proper barrier blocking might leave a hole open for you to escape from.
  19. It's head invul changed. It went from being head invul from frame 11 to frame 37 to being head invul from frame 11 to frame 17. So you have 20 less frames of invul to work with.
  20. If you are close, Dia 236D > 22A > 6A > 4B > 2DD > 214D > 5C > 6C > 236D > 236C > 6A > 623C is a simple combo to do. If you are further away, Dia 236D > 22A > 5DD > 2DD > 6C > 236D > 236C > 5C > 2C > 623C is another easy mode combo to do. Those shouldn't give you much trouble. SWD will probably be along later for more optimized combos that are harder.
  21. You can't cancel 22A into a move until frame 21 after you input. So there is a weird delay there. But doing the moves as fast as you can usually works in most situations.
  22. I meant the midscreen ones. I guess I am just used to them since Lambda used them so much but I never found midscreen dash combos difficult. No. You got the general idea. Once you get used to the timing, you don't need to mash it but you are almost always going to have to input the 22A as fast as possible in Nu combos.
  23. Is 5C > 2C > 623C hard? I thought it was a pretty simple. It even gives you time a lot of time while they are getting hit by 2C if you have trouble doing precise 623 motions fast so you can take it slow.
