Both of my losses in BB were to Tagers, but I put up a pretty good fight against Axis. Troy just ran that match, though. Nigga you won't take an MM in 40k because you are afraid of a Total Defeat. You forgot my KitKats so I forgot our MM.

Thanks for the input about the venues, guys. I'll bring it up with Aaron when I PM him later. IDK if he already has something planned for next season, so we'll figure that out too. If you guys want to do/try something new or different next season, then let me know. I have no clue, but I think I should have entered. I use the same character he used but I DO play the game (even though I haven't played it in a LONG time). Also there were 11 people in it.

Just out of curiosity, what did you guys think of the venue for MM? I personally liked the venue quite a bit, but the bad might outweigh the good. The bad being the longer drive, no one seemed to know how to drive in Ann Arbor, and saying that the parking was awful there would not be a strong enough statement. Seriously, was that city made before parking lots were invented? iirc Greats said that the owners were going to be changing locations soon, and if it gets relocated somewhere closer to the heart of the scene and at a place with better parking, I wouldn't mind having more events there. Plus, they sell NES games. I lol'd. Stay gdlk, sydog.

No audio? Could you put something over it (like the music that would be played in the matchup or something) so it's not just a silent video? If not or if it would be way too much work, then don't worry about it. Also it must have been annoying that you and BrownBear had to do an Ara mirror later on in the bracket. In an Ara mirror, no one wins.

Thanks for the compliment(s), Rei. IDK if you heard, but we ended up going the wrong way on foot after we parked for over a half hour, otherwise we would have been early lol. If you're planning on going to MWC, I should be there since I wanted to play against you too. Axis just sent me to the losers bracket too soon so I spent most of my time there lol.

lol The only thing that I smelled wat the Chinese food once people started getting stuff to eat. The food smell soon went away after a while once everyone was done eating. None of the guys in my car smelled bad or I probably would have noticed.

Special shoutouts from yesterday: To Grendy for the GG casuals. They were fun as always. Oddly enough, I have a bit more difficulty comobing on Johnny than most of the cast, and May is one of the easiest characters to combo. To Troy and Co. for being mad hype, and to Troy for bringing your A game to MM and making every one of your matches intense.

There's a funny story as to why we were late. Proto said he's going to post it tomorrow. EDIT- The best part is that we quickly caught up to schedule. Having a good number of setups really helped things.

Greats and Bananaken won MB and AH3, respectively, so MI did win some games.

There's a really good reason that we were late, and I think Proto is going to post a story about it tomorrow that will be worthy of being in the first post of MI threads.

Alright bro, get what you can before tomorrow and then I'm sure some of us would be willing to help you with the rest of what you need. If you are just entering BB, then it will be $15 in total (venue+entry), so getting you a couple bucks here and there from a few people shouldn't be a problem if we need to.

Rei, if you're reading this, did you message the guy on SRK that was offering you a place to stay? For everyone bringing setups, check the MM thread in Event Announcements to make sure you know what you're bringing. EDIT- Axis, how is Unsanc getting to casuals, and does he still need ShardZ to pick him up tomorrow?

Not very many. There's Del, Leo, Greats (when he's in town), and myself. I think Proto said he'd start playing when he gets his stick (does BO play it too?), but other than that, everyone else always turtles and only plays BB/other games. It's not like it's hard to get either, since it's out in the US. If you don't go to casuals, join us on netplay. Also, everyone that goes to casuals: Make sure you don't stay too late since MM starts earlier and is farther away than usual so you will need to be ready early. MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE BY 12 AND TRY TO BE EARLY. THE 1 PM TOURNEYS WILL START WITHOUT YOU IF YOU'RE LATE. Lumin, you might want to get Shadow before 10 just in case, but it's supposed to be 50 out tomorrow, so the roads shouldn't be a problem.

Hmm, never used her. Is she good without meter, or should I put Wesker up front like with my current team?

Right now, I use Wesker/Haggar/Storm, but the team I'm working on is ?/Viewtiful Joe/Wesker. I was considering using MODOK in the first spot, but I'm not sure if his assist would be a good asset to that team. I also feel like Joe needs Wesker's quick OTG assist to get his good damage and slo-mo combos off. I'd really like to keep Joe on that team, but he seems to need the right teammates to compliment him (and a good/fast OTG assist for slo-mo combos), but then again, that's what this game is about. He's so much fun to play as too.

I was planning on going after MM, but if we do go during a break, then sure (if I'm not too busy running/playing things). Also we should talk Mahvel sometime soon, either here in the thread or at MM if it would be easier. I'm trying to work on a new team, but I just can't decide who would be a good fit for who I currently have.
