  1. I'm not one for combo notation really. I just watched a lot of videos over and over to learn these. If anyone wants to transcribe these I'm sure that will be helpful for others like myself. These are just basic combos. Some are even simplified because I'm not skilled enough to do the full version. Although, I feel they are simple enough for beginners to learn and obtain a fighting chance against their opponents. I hope this helps, just trying to contribute. Noel Basic BnB's https://youtu.be/v9psNNNktCE The 3rd combo I did, I'm almost convinced that route doesn't work on Carl.
  2. Thanks for adding the google doc and going through the time of placing all that information. I'll be working on her a fair amount today and hopefully I make way more progress than my first attempt.
  3. I apologize for this being such a general question, but I didn't notice any sub topic thread or I simply didn't see it. However, I wanted to know if Eltnum was a really technical character? I've only just received the game and spent maybe 3hrs on it. I've noticed that some combos I breeze through with a bit of repetition and others I simply never connect. Now I haven't scanned every inch of this thread, so it may have been answered (Don't flame me) but I think it would be helpful for a beginner like me, if in the combo notation there was some sort of indication of needing to input a delay. I've noticed the type moves that can be charged, but when it comes to the combos where she needs to whiff a move I seem to fail at those. Sorry for the long post, just a n00b wanting to be pointed in the right direction.
  4. Thanks for the advice. I'll get to practicing on what you said, upload some more videos some time to see if I'm following correctly. In some Noel mirrors I've done I'm really starting to notice the start up difference in 2A since well... It keeps hitting me. :|I'll work on incorporating that and different block strings into my game. In the Tager match up. My head was totally gone in that match honestly. I know it's not a good idea to tech in the air, by then end of the first round I was like "There's no coming back." I'll TRY with the being aggressive slowly moving forward.. But it's incredibly hard for me to just take my time. Something I would have to really get used to doing.
  5. So um.. Yeah, I have a video I would like some suggestions on if that's not to much trouble. Dogg201 vs Little Subby Dogg201 vs II StaSiS II Before you guys point out some obvious things, let me try to defend myself first o_0. First off, let me say before these matches started I was shook. Shook as in, I went into the battles like, "I fought these people since CT and the result is always the same. I'm gonna lose." So clearly, I'm in the wrong state of mind. I know not to 3C randomly, I especially know not to do it without a rapid at hand... But um, old habits die hard. I run up a lot with 6C... Something I've always done since CT, just kind of never left me. Combos that involve the Haida loop to some extent I drop. Simply because I'm learning it, but never doing it in a match wont help me learn it faster. The combos I do land don't produce tons of damage either, or I drop them out of pressure. There are points in the match when you may think "What is he doing, why isn't he doing that or why isn't he moving?" Well during the match.. I'm sitting there just like "What the freak am I doing, what am I gonna do and Why am I not moving." That is like... My definition of being shaken up o_0 So I got scraped pretty bad. I tend to think I have good block strings, but against Sub.. Couldn't keep him on the ground long enough to even attempt any type of mix up. A lot of times I hit my opponent, not expecting a hit so I don't go for the most viable combo. I guess from the video you see I'm always moving, not thinking to much... I have no patience. Learned to live with that :|So helping me keep an aggressive play style while remaining safe would be a big help. Thanks.
  6. Like this person I'm finding this loop hard as heck o_0. The combo I'm trying to do is " 3C > 22BC > 66C > 22B > 66C > 22B > 66A > 6C > 22B > 66C > 22B > 66A > 6C > 22B > 6D > 236A > 6C > sj.D > 6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > d.236D - 4,290" I get maybe twelve hits before I drop the thing. The 2nd 66A is normally where I collapse. The other combo I'm just trying to get under my belt is "6A > 6C > j.D > Reload > 2B > 6C > 22B > 22BBC > 66C > 22B > 66C > 5D > d.6B > d.5C > d.6C > d.6A > d.236D -2,958/42" Pretty much break down as soon as I get to 22B. Always Whiffs. Not aware if the person I'm training against effect the combos, but I'm practicing against Jin.
  7. Here are two more matches. The first match that plays is me vs a Mu 12 and then a tsubaki in the second match that starts. Yeah... I miss 6C when I dash, it's not something I normally do, but online it happens a lot. Since I'm not expecting the whiff, I don't bother with the 5A to continue it. In the Tsubaki match there were a few counter 5B's and 5C's that I didn't continue into big combos. Didn't expect them to hit, I wasn't prepared is all I can really say. Anyway, here you go. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Dsv2h3Sngk
  8. Hey guys. I got a new recording device. My friend no longer has to upload videos for me. Heres a match between me and a Jin player. Its not very impressive, I was being pretty chill in this match. I was a bit care free, so pretty reckless. But the Quality is nice so just give it a view and tell me what Im doing wrong if you want to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Zks1V-sfGY
  9. Thanks for the advice. I'm definitely gonna work on what you said. i never really knew how to take advantage of ragna after that 2nd hit he does so thanks for that. I've never done a CA before though... something with pressing 6AB at the same time i think. im gonna be practicing a lot this weekend it seems.
  10. Just some more matches. like i said before, criticism is welcomed... im working on not doing 3c after every 2c but right now its just a habit. going into her BnB from a 3c is still challenging for me to do online because of lag. thats why i prefer to go for air combos. Also... i watched that dvd a lot, the moves are just hard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYMlhtqPfTQ&feature=sub http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FToX3aZwlGc&feature=channel
  11. Just recently made an account here, But I've been around scanning this site for information plenty of times. Here are just two videos of me using noel playing a Rachel and in another video a Tager. Any words to help me improve would be greatly appreciated. Also, I know many probably wont like the music, but its what I was listening to when I won the matches so I kept them in there. Thanks in advance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9trNtgvLHog&feature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDYTT9FZWvU&feature=channel
