  1. Ur rite. Examu would ned to add three to four belts per character to match with Sol and Ragna. This threads pretty funny.
  2. I'll show up around like... 1pm today.
  3. We're playing games tomorrow or something idk
  4. It's not the easiest thing to do, these cheap sticks aren't made with the idea of replacing the gate. They look a lot like the Hori EX2 gates actually, they're just a big square piece of plastic with a square cut out for the gate. You may be able to retrofit a Sanwa octogate in there, I don't think it'll work properly, or solve too many issues.
  5. If it's the stock Mayflash stick (as it seems to be) it's got terrible parts in it. If you want to put Sanwa or seimitsu parts in there, you're going to need to do modifications to the case (http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/92494/paewang-revolution-mayflash-modding-tutorial-ver-laugh-lots-of-pictures) that are (as far as I'm concerned) not really worth the time for that case. Sanwa sticks will feel more loose than an American/Euro stick, and a lot more sensitive. The mayflash stick very well may have problems hitting corners. A better stick would probably help.
  6. There is no solid answer for that. Naturally if a button is failing the switch needs to be replaced. The life of a button depends on not only how many presses but also how hard you hit the buttons, and even at that sometimes you get the odd button that fails early.
  7. In your case, you're making a huge jump in quality of push buttons (Madcatz to Sanwa), Madcatz did a fairly good job with the Brawlstick compared to older SE models, but they're still not fantastic (Their in house stick has problems hitting 7913 as well). So yes, it's entirely possible that the madcatz buttons are just failing, they're not the best buttons. Luckily a swap is incredibly easy, all you need is a phillips head screwdriver to get into the bottom (Make sure you use the right size! one that's too small WILL strip the screwhead!) Even with Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons, you need to replace them on occasion (or at least the microswitches). They're a mechanical switch, they will get worn down.
  8. Oh yeah, ggs this weekend. I'm the best at P4U. What if I put more than 20 minutes into the game?
  9. i'm pretty sure Nadakai and Ehrik will be coming up, i'll be there at like 1pmish
  10. Games tomorrow? Y/N/M?
  11. Uhhhhhhhhhhhh have fun getting blown up mashing homing trying to get out of pressure. Arcanas movement system may be a bit hard at first, but it's the least of your problems when you need to deal with tight mixup. The game's not exactly a walk in the park.
  12. Because Guilty Gear XX doesn't have six (different, paid) versions, right? Also lol at everyone complaining about them using the SFxT graphics and calling Capcom lazy. Go try to backport the SFxT models to SFIV yourself, it's not just a copy paste job (plus they need to make character models for the SFIV characters who were not in SFxT, and costumes etc etc) . Also they'd charge you for this update anyway, so at least they're using the newer assets. Thank god because the original SFIV models are fucking hideous, at least the SFxT models look better.
  13. Yeah, I can understand not wanting to make a long drive, but any time you want to come get local games you're welcome to come out! (Also lol places in PA have such weird names) I've got something to do in the morning for Saturday, but I should be done by noon, no later than 1pm so I'm game.
  14. EVO at Hals was mad cool, cept for the reason Bryan and I left early lol
  15. Aquapazza didn't get run. The people who asked me to run it didn't show. So instead we played a different game that none of us play (BBCEX), P4U and BB were run as round robin because of the number of players, AH3 was run as a regular ol' double elim bracket. Persona 4 Arena: 1: Stern the Destructor 2: Antiquarin 3: GhostCobra 4: Setra 5: Tigre BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend 1: Stern the Destructor 2: GhostCobra 3: Antiquarin 4: Nadakaineko 5: Tigre Arcana Heart 3 1: Nadakaineko 2: Tigre 3: Fujiwara 4: GhostCobra 5: Stern the Destructor 5: Antiquarin 7: Red Leather Jacket Bracket: http://i.imgur.com/HPkCr0U.png
  16. Are we playing games tomorrow?
  17. Just practice. Sounds like you just need to build up the muscle in your right hand. Especially if you're new to stick
  18. GGs guys, super fun to chill afterwards too lol
  19. ggs everyone, sad I couldn't get too many serious games in trying to shake off this cold still :/ Be ready for next weekend! <edit> the other group of players is meeting up on Tues if anyone want to get games in.
  20. September is a bad month for me Start of the semester at uni and all. And povertfest is October so idk if anyone will be up for that much travel. I'll make it out to a BADC, I swear! On a more positive note- Buttons. Saturday. Be there.
  21. Before the tournament starts sure play whatever. When the tournament starts though I need all of those setups for the event. Once we get part way through the bracket a few setups will free up, and I'd have no problem with one of them being used for BB, and of course as the event goes on less setups will be used as Actzehn explained already.
