Let me correct myself. He wasn't absolutely fucked in every matchup and furinkazan was almost always a table-turner. He'd score good damage if it was possible to combo after 623b without the followups dropping after 5a/5b, or you were fighting a 6c-able character. His mix-up was also fairly strong. That build would honestly work in CS, mostly because of the changes combo system. edit: fuck Blazblue

Bang was pretty decent in CT. Hell, with CS's combo system, he could be mid-high tier easily. The best thing they could do for balance is make him CT Bang.

From the look of the floating on 3c, it seems like you could do 3c 214d~a 5c continue combo. It's just a theory though.

I thought that 5c only combos into 6a on counterhit.
