  1. i am still sad that shooting star is only standalone now. doing 214a/214ac and then hitting d when i expected their poke(or even dragonpunch), thus dodging and getting a juicy fatal counter was always so awesome. Cosmic ray doesnt have any invincibility, right?
  2. Do you have footage of this? I remember seeing it grab people who were barrier blocking. if so then wtf, is her mixup just bad without meter? low damage command grab, slow overheads..i guess that's the price of her good pressure..:/ edit: nevermind, found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0AByd67dmk#t=6m29s there goes a lot of my interest in bullet, so much for mobile grappler...
  3. Are you sure about this? I thought i saw her do real orb oki at some point(vs tsubaki after 5d, i think?), which IIRC can always get blown up by DPs in CSE, but she completely recovered well in time in the BBCP footage.
  4. i heard litchi 6b[m] CH doesnt wallbounce anymore, is this true Well, something being nerfed to where it is less central only is an unimportant nerf if other buffs compensate and create different emphasis for the character. I wonder if part of why they nerfed kokushii and felt meter gain nerf was fine is because now you can do daisharin any time you knockdown since it is an overdrive. Combo->Daisharin setup->Combo->Enough meter for kokuushi->another combo, then dead? I dont like the idea of that being dependent on burst gauge(especially since it doesnt seem like she got a damage, neutral or pressure buff to compensate for being less of a momentum character), though, and we still dont really know if daisharin combos are good or if some aspect of it has been nerfed... :/ I wonder if daisharin is good enough that you could transform any basic string into 2-3 enforced mixups with max HP daisharin, and how much the damage of a mixup towards the very end of daisharin would be improved by it... if new daisharin is bad and kokushii doesnt have good followup combos then it seems like she got the short end of the stick because imo most other charas got buffed in either pressure, damage, neutral or multiple of those things, and she didnt really...but it's week 1 so lol, we'll see
  5. Has anyone seen any blockstrings into straight through? Followups only look like -3 or something now. What was nerfed about Kokushi?
  6. Not a litchi specific change, but it seems that your meter gain per hit decreases the longer your combo goes on. IMO this is a relative nerf for litchi considering how the length of her combos are typically a boon to her meter gain and thus oki/other options even when parts arent adding much damage.
  7. litchi 2c[m] seems to have less range. doesnt work in the corner as well or after j.b 5b. not sure tho daisharin lasts for a bit under 2 seconds at 75% hp...seems not worth it unless some very nice things are capable in such periods with it. want videos of techhhh

  10. What does Kuon's 214C do? I noticed noa had a similar thing that activated projectiles but cant figure out what kuon's does. same question for yui's 22a/b/c
  11. just means you have to rely on yukikaze to get out of projectile oki setups. not relevant to parrying basic strings
  12. Hmm, disregard the break->throw thing, this video has more frame rate issues than a normal video does. Eclipse turn is definitely multiple frames faster, though.

Yeah, i was thinking that, since occasionally i get lucky in bbcse with eclipse turn dodging something.(or sometimes just barely not dodging something, lol) Doing 214a->break->throw seems faster as well. It is a bit hard to tell though, you might just be able to cancel break into throw or something. But overall it seems like you can cancel into break earlier in the run(around frame 9 like the other cancels out of 214a as opposed to frame 13) and break itself seems shorter, but again, maybe it has a throw cancel like some other moves.
  14. Eclipse turn is definitely faster. It is like 20f total, including the startup run of 214a and the entire crossover.
  15. I looked at cosmic ray frame by frame at the end, it definitely seems no worse than like -1 on block. might be even or +1, it is extremely hard to tell with 30fps footage
  16. seems like her crossup option during ground rush is faster. not sure though. is her new "Hell's fang" plus on block? cant wait till the stream archive gets uploaded by abelcru or something so i can take a closer look. Considering some of azrael/bullet's + frame pressure, it would not surprise me so much if it was, but it'd be nuts.. i also wonder if her 214a~d might be safer on block now. it doesnt seem to have as much recovery, but i only saw it once on stream, so really hard to put much weight in that perception lol
  17. litchi can do 6d(1) crush trigger!!! hopefully this means she can do 6d(1) itsuu to bait people mashing jab in an attempt to beat CTs. or maybe 6d(1) has enough blockstun that it frametraps..? it is level 5, but CT looks relatively slow, although i dunno if i only saw charged versions or something. if its like 20f some players might barrier 6d in anticipation, giving you free frame advantage even if they IB the second hit of 6d i wonder how her CT is on block. do we know if charging CTs actually makes them better on block or does it just make them take more barrier?

  21. well, in one video, when a rachel bursted it took about 70 seconds to come back overdrives start you with 30% of burst already refilled, right? so, about 50 seconds. could reasonably use an overdrive twice in a match. may depend on chara and stuff, i dunno.
  22. Wow, 6b P1 got a lot better. I guess with all that meter he now gets, rapiding that into damage could be useful.

  25. actually, that was probably partially because jin did 5c, which extends his hurtbox quite a bit
