TEAM FEL ORC in melty,: i think cookie uses sion in melty. pfhor uses kohaku, and others use arc and sion and kouma and maybe 1-2 others i forget in kof2002um, i use mai/li xiangfei/heidern/angel/terry(especially mai and xiangfei), and i dont really remember who jet and ronin use besides some form of kyo for jet and k' for ronin in kof13 i think ill use some mixture of mai, leona, kensou, ash, yuri, athena, and terry(pending on new charas, obv) in gg, ronin uses baiken, cheebz uses sol, supaa uses baiken, transient uses ABA, oso uses venom in tekken i use leo, jet uses lars, ronin uses..lee. but we dont really play that much and jet has put more into it than the rest :1 in ah3, i use lilica, supaa uses eko, pfhor uses clarice, transient uses heart, oso would use heart but cant really play due to no ps3, ronin would use kamui but same deal(PLUS RONIN DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE), jet uses elsa and i guess heart, frigid uses weiß but he mostly only plays mvc3 and kinda BB. boombox uses several characters but i havent seen him in a while due to work. boombox plays a lot of characters in every game, he's cool like that. The other denton guys use other characters but I forget about them. in marvel: i cant keep track of that shit! in bb..(with various levels of activity) Litchi: Me, Supaa Hakumen: Zreb, Ronin Lamda: Frigid Tsubaki: Pfhor Carl: Oso Bang: Oso, Dances(if he'd come to meetups instead of just playing online and going to tourneys) Tager: tons of people sub tager, one of the guys from denton whom i forget mains him, and Aloha mains him Makoto: Potentially frigid, and Denthorn iirc Jin: Jet Noel: Transient Arakune: Cookie..Kind of. He also kind of plays mu and ragna. COOKIE LAB ARAKUNE AND STOP BEING A FAGGOT treat it like you treat ah3, get that shit downnn and beast on people. or someone. LAB SOMEONE Boombox plays like 5 characters, but again, havent seen him in a while. Tao, Jin, Makoto, Mu... There's other people(Johnny, Tomato, Rave) who i hvaent seen in forever and didnt bother to list. also didnt bother to list mains for some other games like sf4/3s because those are pretty uncommon at meetups. sort of depends on where it's hosted, though. (At jet's you're likely to see some PS2 setups, not so much at my place since i guess people dont bother to bring them)

I think Frigid is hosting saturday but that will be pretty heavily focused on watching Marvel/BB on the EVO streams. I dunno how many people are actually going to that, either. I won't be able to. Next two meetups after this weekend will be on fridays. Ill toss your my address in advance of the meetups, or someone can pick you up if need be.

oso, after opening up the link in a different tab and getting a 404, copy paste the url again into the url bar. possibly a few times. that will fix it. And yeah, Relius's puppet isnt in all the shots, and doesnt even have an offscreen indicator..interesting.

gauging how good someone is is really hard and for BB it can be really matchup dependent, so :1 we can always play subs against you or whatever and help you get better. dont feel like your skill level is an impediment to going to meetups ah3 iirc is $30 on psn, bbcs is $20 at some places(but there's also 3 dlc characters, we have those though if you want to try before you buy)

ah3 owns lots of freedom, smart defensive options, strong pressure options, close range is better than a lot of games imo, the burst/"rapid" system is nice(especially when you have an arcana that gives you a particularly interesting power up)

Almost every week, usually on either friday or saturday. I sometimes do a weekday thing on tuesday or wednesday as well. I focus on AH3/BB though, but if you play KOF2002UM i wouldnt mind whipping that out.

People can also pick you up if that would help.

Our main meetup spots are either my place at University of Texas at Dallas, which is in Richardson, or Frigid's place or jet's place. Frigid's place is on 9186 Forest Lane, and jet's place is really close to his.

Most of the MB people are from Denton. They come to meetups at least once a month i'd wager. Cookie plays MB too. Supaa, Ronin, Jet, Cheebz, and I think Oso? play GG. Jet/me/potentially others play KOF. I run kof2002um on my 360 every now and then. Jet plays Tekken some, i'll play it a little but I'm dicks at it. People play CVS2 some casually here.

well, looks like the kof13..."setup" definitely has annoying lag. have tried multiple things. oh well. i guess im going to start playin kof2002OG on GGPO with a certain dude, too. angel/terry/kensou. maybe ill play some terry/angel next time i play kof2002um on 360 at a meetup, too. any particular reason you want this?

i wonder of relius will have worse pressure than carl and be more focused around neutral also litchi still owns played a little lamda today, i might pick her up. might. yeah..but those are practically winter too. Skullgirls in Q4, KOF13 in late October, UMVC3 in..november, I think? @_@

No, no, ASW characters are never the "same". I mean, the article apparently said he plays "like" him in terms of controlling a doll and at least some basic way of how that gauge works, but just because he's the same archetype doesnt really mean shit. I mean, compare Carl to Lieselotte. Even if you ignore the fact that lieselotte's doll can attack when she's being attacked, their attacks are simply designed differently and she just works in a different manner than carl.

Yeah, even though he's the "same" as Carl, I know he'll be awesome. I mean, compare order sol to sol and robo ky to ky, or mu to lamda.
