Well, i don't particularly want flames Iori either, but i figure it's probably efficient(not the same workload as a fully "new" character) and fine. It's sort of like if they added Shermie, Yashiro, and Chris, I'd want the Orochi versions of them because it'd be both efficient in terms of spritework and they would add more to the game since they're different enough.

i would really like to see gato, angel, li xiangfei, shermie, shion, whip and/or heidern sdnfm,sdhnfksdh why is there always someone who asks questions about the character select screen for fighters as if the character select screens for fighters have never been changed

yeah, rina's assists is one of the ones that helps this game stand out i didn't mean that i thought the to heart characters are weak, i just dont find them to be exciting to watch/probably play :p but i thought karulau was boring at first too, and i changed my mind on that...i should probably pay closer attention to multi in next footage.

after watching some more footage, im liking the neutral of the game more still unimpressed with most pressure though, but the assists allow some cool stuff i think most of my problem is i find the to heart characters to be fucking boring

riannon is the only one who really would make me choose this over vanguard princess. morgan is pretty cool too. not really feeling neutral or pressure, but i do like the usage of assists a lot of the time

So..is this game out in japan or what? The site says that in early May a location test finished..but nothing since then. So weird...

i was considering saying "hey, let's try going to fight club for like 3 weekends in a row a bit after i get back" but then i remembered that fight club doesnt start till like fucking 7pm, and if I wanted to get to bed at like 2AM i'd proabbly only get like 5-6 hours there. i guess maybe it would be worth it once or twice to attract some people, but i dunno..a 3pm-midnight meetup in dallas would be much more fun and we wouldnt have to deal with drooling idiots when someone runs an ah3 setup.

We only have so many setups, and I will be running it without Kent this time because he will be out of town." that explains why focusflute hasnt looked at srk since mid may hopefully tbf5 will have bb so i can do thattt Yeah. Average turnout at fightclub(capcommmmm/mk9) is like 30 or so, while these DFW meetups usually(apparently not in summer!) get 6-10 people and our biggest has been like 16-18.

i never said i didn't enjoy cool/entertaining/whatever characters, flashy attacks, etc

i didnt actually look at the srk thread, but this is one of the few times i dont see a reason to be all "FUCK SRK" i mean seriously, it's a game where you play as recolored ponies with different hair/hats. maybe they have different in-show personalities, but..still. I don't see your point. I realize it's pre-alpha state. But it still has nothing to be excited about. Why should I care about yet another fighter when there are TONS coming out, and most of those other ones at least give me a reason to want to play them? I will seriously play fucking any fighter even if the cast is 100% composed of boring old men, just as long as the game has mechanics and shit that interest me a lot. But, getting excited about something just because of a source material that has very little to do with fighting..is sort of like getting excited over MUGEN.

I really like Riannon, but not really seeing a lot to distinguish this game, though it could of course just be really solid anime game with assists. Plus, maybe we'll find out some interesting things about the system now that it's out.
