Unfortunately the first two are pretty basic, so not unless you find them in matchvids. The third one I came up with just days ago. I'm sure other people already know it, but I haven't seen them in videos I have been thinking about making a Dizzy guide vid for some time, but Shinjin still has the capping card, so not until I can have it.

Corner: 421 IAD j.H, land > j.P ]S[, j.H land > combo Midscreen: 214H~X, TK P bubble, airdash over j.H, land > j.P (pops bubble), land combo Also, as a bonus, a one-bubble iteration that gets knockdown and works on all non-lights 214H~P, dash 2k, bite, dash c.S 6P, 421S, TK K bubble, j.H. Good thing is that it will give you just as much time before their wakeup as an FRC'd ice spike, but tension free. Bad thing is that it's too fast so you can't get a new fish summon immediately.

Yea, failing to get that knockdown (I did 6P > 2H > 236H, should have done 5H > 236H) screwed me up in that round. I just got desperate trying to land a final hit and shit like that doesn't fly against players like Champion. The match after that I got pretty confident though, but in the end nerves failed me again with a retard panic burst and Champion realizing just how effective WT is against me, even though I tried to backstep it at every opportunity (which is just as bad. I got fucked up by another player who would feint dash in WT and then toss out VV or TR instead). But, eh, you're only as good as your nerves allow you to be, and Champion is a great player Yea, I guess he wanted payback for that IK. "This is rare footage of Xzi actually angry". Though you can't really tell if he is, he always looks calm and/or concentrated Just a few casuals with cuongster

Thanks for pointing it out. Unfortunately, bizarro doesn't post anything more at all and I haven't read through this guide to it's entirety, so it might contain more faults. If anybody else finds something weird, suspicious or plainly wrong I'll take a look at it.

So, back from Showdown 3, where I've played tons and tons of casuals. ATG reads my tick throw setups way too well. Damn Chipp Anyways, I've requested a matchup subforum now.

Actually, most of the background noise was captured Aaanyways Thanks to everybody who attended to make this MOST AWESOME EURO GG EVENT EVAR! First of, the average skill level was much, much better compared to other tourneys I've been to. I think a lot of players got quite surprised at how good everyone was. I won my pool in the singles tourney and in the team tourney I got ocv'd by the same people. Crazy For one with so few matchup experiences as me this was really valuable. Playing all different chars with all different styles really forcing you to think and rethink what you do and why you do it - cruise control killed you fast. Lazze was awesome. The french were equally awesome, bursting into the french national anthem time and time again during epic matches. Everybody really bought into the hype - it was amazing to see (and hear). And the story of their epic lunch will be retold many times. The french and germans FRC'd a zebra crossing to have one final group picture with us taken by a top tier random passerby. My only complaint was that I didn't get to play everyone I wanted to play against in casuals. On the other hand that was basically everybody who attended

To be fair on Sony BMG, they probably didn't start this themselves because if that was the case they could find many, many more CMs to take down (They do have a 25% market share on music). Most likely it was either the actual artist who contacted them or someone who just squealed. In either case, Sony BMG HAS to take action or it will render those copyrights more or less invalid. I actually blame youtube more, Sony only complained about two videos, after all
-
Please elaborate here, you mean to say that somebody didn't want their CM viewed so they ratted off to Sony and told them that such-and-such CM had copyrighted music in it?
-
Disclaimers and copyright information are unfortunately not a free pass to use and distribute copyrighted works however you feel like. At the end of the day, it's up to the copyright owner to decide what happens to the videos Unfortunately, in this case the copyright owner was a greedy, petty bastard
-
The problem is that you can't really fight it because, legally, you don't have a leg to stand on. You could ask YouTube why they didn't just remove the infringing videos instead of suspending your entire account though

Yeah, I hardly ever bother with 2k > 2h these days because 2k > 2d is better in almost every way: It has way more options on block, it's safer on whiff, and it has arguably better options on hit as well (except for 2d > 421 which is basically impossible - you have to do 4123691 to avoid getting a fish/bubble and that just throws the timing way off, on the other hand you get bubbles for free) It can even delay trap opponents just like 2h So, yea, learning 2d special cancel is definitely worth it

Xzi We're also going to hold some unofficial "best-character" grudge matches. Don't know exactly who is grudging whom yet, but so far we KNOW we're going to have Best Dizzy, Best Johnny and Best Baiken. But of course there are possibilites for more with so many contestants. Since these are not official tournaments there are no guarantees we will capture them, so voice your requests if you have any

After I got some sleep I couldn't reproduce the 5H > 236H results (without delaying 236H on purpose) so take my previous posts with a grain of salt until further notice. The 5K > 5H is the same result though, so it is somehow hitbox related
-
Once they're out of the reeling animation, they can block it (or get hit) because their hitbox is back to normal and the attack still has active frames over it. So it looks like 5k (hit) > 5H (blocked) because if whiffs while they're reeling, and when they have recovered into the the attack, they block it. In other words, it won't whiff entirely, just for a few frames, and then they will block (or get hit, but it won't combo either way) Same with 5HS(hit) > 236H(blocked).
-
When you hit someone, their upper body is thrust backwards from the force of the blow. That animation actually has a smaller hitbox than their normal standing animation. If you are far away enough, then they will dodge the ice spike or 5H until they have recovered Since Shinjin has our capping card for the time being these images were taken by my camera so the quality could be better, but they illustrate the point well enough:
-
Especially due to 2k proration. What excelence said, kill or knockdown Edit: or burst bait
-
Yea, I've covered that in the oki thread. A guaranteed KD combo off 2k is HP fish, 2k, laser, c.S 5h > (bite) 236S, bite, dash c.S 5H 2H 236H
-
I got both to work on Ky with the original setups :8/: For the first one, skip the dash and do 6P immediately after landing, for the second one, you have to be as close as possible when you do c.S > 6P
-
These both work on lifting every character I have tried on, and that's where the character specific part of the bubble loop ends, might havwe to superjump some character, but once they're lifted, they're all doable
-
The old combo movie version doesn't work on all characters as far as I know, that's the points with these two And yea, I'll only go for another 2k if they blocked the first one, of course. Starting with 5k is better damage but not recommended as people have no problem blocking neutral attacks Edit: It's good to stuff jump-out attempts though
-
I can't do it, but I can ask Gwyrgyn to do it,a and I will as soon as I have decided on a good format for them
-
Release the pike a little after or exactly on summoning the bubble Anyways, I sat a little in practice yesterday and I found two bubble loop corner setups that work on everybody, including Axl with the retard hitbox and robo who weighs a billion tons or something 1) HP Fish, IAD j.2S, laser, ad.2S j.H, land, bite (short dash) 6P > 421 > bubble loop The short dash is not always necessary 2) HP Fish, dash 2k, laser, dash 2k/c.S > 6P > 421 > bubble loop (Might not be worth it what with 2k proration, but bubble loops look awesome ) Yes, they are both okizeme setups. The reason both work is that the P bite fish will help you lift your opponent. I'm still working on followups after the first one if they block it, right now I'm thinking something like c.S 2S IAD j.2S > new mixup

Hey guys, glad to hear you'll be coming! I'm really psyched about this now! Basically my entire wishlist for "awesome people who should come" has now been filled. Looking forward to seeing you again. hypest tournament ever! go!
-
Yes. Dizzy can hit on the same frame as you hit the fish, way before you make it off the ground. And there's not a huge risk just tossing out 2H and then cancelling to air spike because the fish protects her.
-
Doing this often is like putting a sign on your forehead saying "HI PLEASE 2H CH ME". Not saying you shouldn't, but don't do it predictably, and don't do it when Dizzy is close either.
