This leads to your opponent just getting away from you for free and you don't even regain magnetism. THIS IS BAD. You want to end your combo's either with magnetism or with your opponent still in a position to get mixed up. Of course, both if possible. Gadget finger is an easy way to get this but of course it has it's downfalls. But it's better than just letting your opponent get away for free. I also caught you do some really weird 720 setup. You did an AC whiff combo, but used the whiffed AC to buffer 720. The issue with this is you have to fire AC before they need to tech. This means they'll always see that you did 720, then they can just neutral tech and jump up to punish you It worked on two players because they for some reason ROLLED. Why they rolled is beyond me. Even weirder is you go for one of these setups in the middle of a combo when the opponent would have died if you just did the combo. Don't go for a reset when you're in the middle of winning the round. Bullet Points: - Good improvements since the last time you asked for help - Think more as you're performing... you still do lots of unsafe things. Using Sledge to travel versus that Litchi stands out as a really bad idea. - With combo's, try and think about how to end them with your opponent still in an unfavorable position. Don't just keep doing damage (Blue beat invalid combos etc). - With tech traps, don't go for them when you don't need them. If you have the opportunity, always seal the deal and end the round. - At one point in one video you do a wake up 720 in the corner. It fails, and you mash out MTW immediately after. Don't do this. It worked, but don't do it. If it failed you would have been punished and out of meter. Luckily your opponent sucked. The real people that need criticism are your opponents. They're garbage. Seek out better competition. Better players won't fall for most of the resets you were doing. That Litchi let you get away with spamming sledge so much edit: Damn I didn't realize how long this post was.

But if you treat it right it won't matter anymore. It's just repetitive and a nuisance but there's no reason to really get hit by it. Though I laugh my ass off every time I manage to not fit an instant block in for some reason and get unblockabled anyway. The real threats are the corner setups. Especially if they include the gear super. edit: Also a carl player mentioned trying to see if Tager could do a falling j.C to clash Brio to mess it up somehow. I never got around to testing it with him yet though.

You're doing this on purpose... aren't you. To stay on topic: I chose Tager because back when I first started playing I was a shitty player and kept getting 720'd. It made me mad to see most of my health bar disappear with one stupid mistake. Then I realized it's probably more fun to do that to other people and make them mad instead. It is still very satisfying to catch those mistakes. Unfortunately, now that I've come to understand the game more, I'm disappointed that all Tager can seem to do right is capitalize on mistakes other players make. If they don't make mistakes often, then you're left with very little to work with.

I've been trying to think of ways to get more GG/BB players to Power Up too. Just seems difficult without the giant amount of hype that comes from what Ghaleon and Fugee do for SB:R. A well planned 'main event' for each game, outside of the singles tournament, would be a great start.

Ya what doragonkoroshi said is 100% true. Honestly being a negative guy in general about what other people like is going to turn them away. That's just general information for your life. Though on another hand, having some exclusive stuff for these games is not a terrible idea either. I hate to say it but at this point the SSF4 community is just so large that it really overtakes things. I'm not even talking about the game, just the sheer amount of players. A major is not going to be the place to be able to showcase these games until SSF4 maybe dies down a bit. Even if you try to, you'll run into roadblocks like limited time etc. BTW I really disagree with brackets being run with "stream time" in mind. The tournament, not the live stream, should be the priority. Always.

Hey guys. To everyone who made the trip out to Ohio to come play games, Thank you very much. I think everyone who I know who plays out here loved to have the opportunity to play versus you guys. Some people just getting a chance to meet people was nice. To everyone I know from out here in the Midwest. I hope you guys take your experience and do something with it. A lot of players out here did very well and I hope it inspires you guys to keep improving. So much improvement happened over the course of a year. Major props to everyone. There is still a lot of work to do, but I hope everyone keeps at it. I know I will. If SB:R was one of your first tourneys and you're from around Ohio, come check out Arcade Legacy and play with us. Also, we should really return the favor to people who were dedicated enough to travel to us, and go travel to them too. NEC is coming up.
