I love how they originally planned to run this without SSF4 so they could have a fun laid back tourney with other games. Then caved and added 4 and now they can't supply space for the demand. Brent's already regretting it. They're planning SSF4 to run early so the people that only play that will leave or go upstairs to the bar while other games are up. But hey looking forward to seeing ya.

This is just like playing versus Hakumen. Except thankfully Jin doesn't hit as hard and has lower health. You really need to get the health lead in this match up and maintain it. If Jin is forced to come to you, he'll have to take more risks than he did in CT. If this means spending a burst early to give yourself one more chance to stay healthier than Jin, it might be worth it because the next time he comes at you. Hopefully next time you'll end out on top and with a larger lead. Also do your best to not get cornered because that is where Jin gains a boost on his average damage per combo.

my connections online have been extremely iffy. But for the most part if you filter for 3 or better you'll be alright as far as lag goes, assuming your own shit is configured correctly too. As alright as online gaming can get in a fighting game.

Run BB:CS please. It was a pretty awesome turn out last year for broken as fuck CT. Above that, it really brought out some amazing players and the top 8 was really the most diverse of any BB tournament in a major run in the US. I'd imagine the same top players will make it out to Seasons Beatings again and make another very entertaining showing. Also for you guys running things, you will probably get enough unique entrants to help assist paying off the costs of running this awesome tournament. I think announcing it in Seasons Beatings soon, while the game is released and the scene is growing, will nab the interest of new players and old players who are making improvements. Also, I want something to do while drinking that MOMO's bubble tea. Delicious.

You can start gadget finger earlier than you think. Pretty much do it as soon as the input is possible and hold D. You'll get that 5 frame input buffer so Gadget will come out as early as it can, and then you can hold till it nabs your opponent (but you really shouldn't even have to hold it for this one anyway). edit: Sorry I assumed that you were playing -in- challenge mode.

Who's going to be at Arcade Legacy this Thursday? I'd really like to get some games in on ~actual~ BB:CS with people.

I'll be missing out on the first day this season so I can go to my sister's wedding, but I'm hoping people put in a good showing for both GG and BB this entire season.

I talked it over with DandyJ, it'll be listed as 360 with everything else since the guys from Cbus all basically own 360s. It's what they can guarantee having there. But I'll bring my ps3 and I'm sure someone else wouldn't mind bringing one either. The tourney won't be as big as SSF4 so it likely won't need more than 2 or 3 setups total. The 360 only thing was mostly a strict deal for SSF4 since they still have that retarded timing delay where the ps3 is slightly slower than the 360 too. Good shit Capcom and Sony. Also fuck, sorry to hear man.

It's really a good question. I'm still going to go. I want to play BB:CS versus some of the guys from Michigan who've posted that they're coming. I haven't been to any of the bar battle events before so I'm not sure how they set things up. I'm actually kind of upset that they're running things on 360s though. Out of the BB scene around here, I don't think many of us play on 360. The guys FROM COLUMBUS play on ps3 pads. JetM isn't a scrub either so it's worth respecting him wanting to play on ps3 pad (if he's going). I'm basically just going to bring my ps3 anyway and have it ready. edit: Actually i think it'd be a good idea to get your guys input on this if you are planning on going and entering BB:CS. Should I bring it up to the guys running things? I know some of you guys play on 360 and it'd also be nice for you guys to play on your equipment too. man I edit my posts all the time.

It'll be hard to top Third Strike and CvS2 in voting for another game to be added, but maybe showing support and heading out etc might convince them to let it run.

Maybe for the next season of ranbats Jesse can have Tekken be in the middle since they are usually the same day as GG/BB?
