huh obviously first loke test but 4dd jc on wiff is really... probably wont happen right? there are only two minor/major changes I would have wanted, if arksys reads my mind and applys them along some of the good stuff posted well crazyness will ensue

i gotta agree with stick except take out the tad bit in front of the worse than everyone above her, she just straight out feels worse, also lambda gets good damage off 4b but people souldnt be getting hit with that. also the reason most people cant understand ragna is because alot of us(including me) dont understand defense and get hit by his stupid stuff(6b, yea i think getting hit by it is stupid but it happens to me alot) online. This isnt the best place to ask but is the lambda vs haz still 5-5, haz can react to lambdas mistake but not really the other way around(it possible I dont understand this matchup at all)

hopefully I didnt come off rude or anything, of course if you mained nu your probably going to do a bit better than someone who didnt, in fact my nu was probably 50/50 zoning/melee at the end of CT and Im having a hard time myself and for people with incredible defense I think you actually need to go in close, what I'm saying is your not going to be "prepared" for lambda so to speak shes just alot harder than nu imo with alot less easy damage, I dont think it going to be a simple or even an easy transition just because nu was so good (you might be "prepared" who knows, we're on different networks and it might just be easy for you). I actually think lambda's should try to go in close to get tks, bait ib and punish and go for big damage because its not going to come from a standard sword or counter 2C so theres really no need for a friendly wager because I think your thinking about a melee semi-rushdown lambda which I think is fine and better than a complete zoning lambda

no amount of nu practice can help you with lambda imo its kinda like playing a new character but you can probably adapt better than me.. I think someone said it before and its probably just due to me playing her for the first time but some of her combos look easy but with the varying height of tk, the delay you sometimes have to do makes her big hitting combos as of right now pretty hard even when the tk hits they can still tech I dont even know the margin of error. I also think theres a bit of randomness based on how fast you can press 5C and when you input 236C and where they will bounce again probably due to just playing her but shes really different imo I think I seen a couple vids where people did 5D-4dd it seems kinda gimmicky to me is it any good... anyone have any tips on the loop how in the heck does the guy not move back while 6a tk in challenge 9 im assuming hes doing 214789 or something like that but im using a pad and so far cant do that locke those are nice combos but I think lambda can get that damage just from a 236C using a tk but right now thats pretty hard

huh, hows it better? If anything I would think its worse especially now that 2147D on counter cant lead to 4k+ meterless(thus taking away the fear of mashing). Is it faster than nus or something else

it takes a corner fatal counter hit off of calamity sword then you have to rapid another 50 heat, I doubt your opponents going to be in the corner if you have 100 heat to use. it also requires you to use gravity well. its much less practical than hakus 100 combos, also calamity sword for me almost never counter hits so its probably going to have to be off a complete guess because been in the middle of attack and still able to recover and block it or a blocked dp and if you have 100 heat your opponent probably has 50 to cancel their dp its a great combo but imo not very viable and calamity sword still suck vids still awesome though and its good to know the combo exist just in case

soujiro seta you can react to nus melee its nothing special... the only thing one should have trouble reacting to is tk feint, and tks are pretty much the same for lambda umm I thought the bang vid was pretty good. The others were meh... I think its a bit pretentious to judge someone vids harshly especially since we dont know if the players played each other alot, familiar with certain patters, or even if it was an off day. I thought he played a solid zoner especially since his opponents all had better melee options compared to lambda. he definitely didnt play as good as the other vids but there are unknown, unknowns with that said bamg makes me sad... oh well

I really liked how goro played, good mixture of range and close range, sick lambda, especially the one comeback against a ragna player... really good stuff

I know this, I was basically using that part of the statement to relate to shotta showing im not just someone whos super excited about CS, so he would listen to my comment from a more neutral stand point. Not very good but considering the time of night I was typing at its alright. Hence why I didnt go deep into how I dislike the personality change but instead talked about her gameplay afterward albeit not in great detail

Shottanuhmis its not as bad as you make it out to be. I have more of a problem with what they did to her character in the story. I also dislike two of the new top 3 but thats due to the players that play them not the characters themselves (bang and ragna). Nu wasnt meant to be played entirely without sword neither is lambda theres a time to use it, and times where you should melee. In CT sword spam was a bit too safe. I think they took the character in a good direction, my only gripe based on CT Nu is that her melee doesnt have any sexy block strings you basically TK and mix-up if you fail from your mix up you retreat or depending on the character only (two I can really think of) are in a high risk situation afterwords but really its not that bad her melee is good enough for pretty much every character in CT with like one or two exceptions. Lamb has a Dp though so its not that big a deal. all this is based on what I've seen of Lamb due to not having an arcade close by

I suck too, so I rarely get big damage from anywhere off the screen the only way I know how to do that is from 214D which is still there is cs, so dont feel too bad. I know there are spacing specific combos that work from like mid range that lead to good damage but I cant think of meterless big damage from across the screen like I said though not that good at the game
