  1. I have no idea, no idea, and no idea. Sorry man lol.

  2. No, his partner was someone I've never met before. I've played Lord Knight, LK is muuuch better. The match was at the last 2v2, it'll get uploaded to AI eventually.

  3. If it makes you feel any better Skye, all the Jins are scratching their head at how the matchup isn't Ara's favor. Just wait til you play the game, dw about it.
  4. Well, that depends. If it's a matchup chart that is never updated or made in America, you should before anything else take everything with a grain of salt. Past that, it's just straight matchups; the numbers indicate how well each character does against every other character, in a ratio out of 100. For example, Bang V Rachel, on this chart, Bang should win 65 out of every 100 games, and Rachel should win 35, simply based on characters. Clearly a bad matchup if it is right, since Bang should win twice as often before skill is calculated (And if the bang player is more skilled.. it goes downhill quickly)
  5. I don't know who his partner was, but Render massacred him (the partner). Apparently he was a good litchi (I didn't see him play, aside from Render V him), but Render got some kind of amazing read on him. The stunedge Render match was AMAZINGLY close.

  6. Skye do you watch the same Japan I do? Because Arakune is better than Jin in every Japan I've been watching. Jin can keep up in this matchup because he has zoning that screws with Ara, godlike melee zoning range with A shoryus, and reliable DPs to get out of block-curse situations. Other than that, it's Ara trolling clouds, 100% curse combos and fever loops. Ara's backdash works quite well to get out of pressure, so he's not as helpless in defense as many make him out to be.
  7. When you post "I wish my character had things he doesn't", who do you help? When you elaborately describe something we already know, like Litchi is S tier, are you bringing anything new to the table, or aiding anyone? I don't get it bro
  8. Sol, you are playing people that aren't using it right then. It makes a vicious frame trap and can be safely or nearly safely gatling'd from several moves. Bang's 6B can certainly be beating by a poke, but only if you aren't in blockstun. Better to get in the habit of blocking it, because if someone 5B > 6B's you lose Giving Jin's 6A cancellability on block would obviously defeat the purpose of it not having cancellability. His only overhead is risky. That should tell you something about Jin; he's not about mix, he's about pressure, overall. Use the character, don't ask for another Ragna or Bang.
  9. I'm telling you Bang's frame data. His 5C becomes active frame 18, and is active for 8 frames after that, most commonly hitting on 20-24. Why would you modify a frame trap that crushes lows to be a better overhead than the other overhead that is deliberately not a great overhead? And then remove the other one completely? Bang's 6B is an overhead where he tucks and rolls forward. It is significantly less telegraphed than Jin's 6B and is 7 frames faster. It's also sharply negative on block, unlike the 6B you're suggesting.
  10. Sure, but Ragna's 6B doesn't involve floating off the ground and spinning. That's why it works. PS Throwing in a "We're not all bang players" doesn't even support your argument, because Bang's 5C hits on frame 20-22 usually, whereas Jin's overhead is 4-6 frames faster, if I remember right. Cmon, keep up.
  11. I'm telling you, 6B as an overhead would accomplish nothing. It's like 35 frames, how the hell do you get mixed up by that?
  12. He was actually just in socal, and his team played mine in the last 2v2. Me and Render V Stunedge and his partner. Stunedge beat me, then lost to Render. It was gdlk.

  13. The things that you want for Jin are either mildly useless or completely nonsensical to his character scheme.
  14. 6B doesn't have to be an overhead for all that to already apply, like it already does.
  15. His 6A overhead goes directly into corner nonsense, so I can't exactly agree with low reward. 6B doesn't make sense as an overhead and is already good. Everyone would block it high and it would be just like normal, so there's no point. 6B is a frame trap/low crusher. Lambda's overhead is still difficult to block, as the first hit will register as a low jab to many people (myself included). There is an anesthetic attribute to hearing the "clink" of a blocked hit, as usually an overhead can not follow it that quickly. My mind shuts off, and I never ever block it. such is life. Alternatively, if you meaty it the first hit is skipped and it is just the second hit. Past that, her overhead has really, really god like proration.
  16. I might go to the qualifier in Texas with Render, it's up in the air. I'll keep you posted. o:

  17. Lol. Render offered me half my ticket to go to qualifiers with him, so instead of wait for a guy I've never met to decide if it's a good idea, I'll go with my good friend if anything.

  18. Smoosh, you put words in people's mouths all the time. 6A >Dice car/RC option select was not an argument saying "Hey, 6A is a good overhead", as you declared it was. It was saying "Hey, you can do something really useful, this will help your Jin a lot". For the record, Jin's 6A is damn hard to block if you know how to hide it. The speed of an overhead is certainly applicable. Jin's is just too fast for me to react to, so I have to pure yomi his overheads, which is scary. Render hits me with so many 6As it isn't even funny (Side note; this is more of a "6A is more useful in America than Japan, where people don't block overheads well" than anything else) But yeah. Be thankful there is an option for when your Dice car gets blocked that's auto-pilot and gets you out of being punished. Using that option select, you have a really strong hidden gimmick. And don't tell me 50 heat isn't well spent getting out of being punished and mixing up your opponent further, that's crazy. Another note completely, what do you mean Lambda's 4B doesn't count
  19. Why did you change your name without telling me lol
  20. Oh man. I'm DOUBLE pumped now. RIN, I'm calling in that panda express check! We gettin some STRAIGHT UP THAI FOOD in this shit
  21. Japan says mid. *shrug* Render and Stunedge are doing really well with Jin.
  22. I already brought 5C daifunka up.. but when I said it, everyone wrote it off. Lol. It's Rachel/Tager specific, but there's a possibility if your ender is a 5C that hits them out of the air, it will hit anyway (Unconfirmed, but has happened to me before, IIRC). I don't think there is any way to get your 5C > Daifunka to hit non Rachel Tager without some real ingenuity.
