Proficient is different from person to person. You can always get better and learn more about your character and matchups and anything. i can't say i'm proficient until i can place consistently in tournaments. if that's the case then it's 5 months and ongoing.

Yeah except the side-swapping combo we're talking about doesn't sacrifice ANY damage to swap sides. If you're back is towards the corner you can just pull off one of those side-swapping combos and put them back in there. I'd rather get corner oki than a midscreen reset attempt. To stop her from backdashing after a blocked C tackle just 2D it a couple times. She'll learn not to backdash and then you can just do whatever you want after. You have to condition them not to backdash it.

Improving hitconfirm and not-autopiloting is just something you get overtime. Not just learning a new character.

Against a masher you just use frame traps. Easy as that. You get a free combo. Basically to learn a new character: 1. Learn combos 2. Learn frame data 3. Learn blockstrings/frametraps/spacing moves 4. Learn matchups 5. Learn character specific combos/gimmicks

Yeah, it's pretty cool. Any combo can push into the corner now. It just doesn't work on tager though.

50 meter for 3k damage is better than 25 heat for 700 damage. Like the 214D -> 6C -> 214C ender that costs 25 heat. People add supers to the end of combos that only do 1k damage for 50 meter. 3k for 50 heat is not bad... assuming it is 3k, if it's worse than that though, then i don't really know.

On that note, Jin builds meter fast so a RC from 6A should be no problem. Now the question is how well will 6A prorate to make it worth the RC.

Something like that will only work 1 time against a player. If you get it then good job. From the 2nd time and on go into mixups.
