Hooyen Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Hey guys, I owned Continuum Shift for like 2-3 years and ended up not putting many hours into it after I beat the story mode. Thought I'd pick up CP (it was only 16 dollars on psn so why not) and get decent at it. I sort of know about game mechanics but I'm probably gonna go through tutorials again. I know practice is needed but what necessarily do I need to do to get better apart from just playing a lot? Will I have to memorize those long challenge mode combos? If you guys can give me advice on where to start it'd be very much appreciated. (Also if it matters I'm most likely going to main Izayoi and Noel until I buy Kokonoe.)
heavymetalmixer Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 It would be better if you go to every subforum for your characters and make those questions there, every character is different so they don't face the same situations in the same way. And the challenges teaches you how the character works, but you should learn the Bnbs.
Airk Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I'm just going to refer you to the post I wrote a while back that answers pretty much exactly this question.
epikku attaku Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 there's a youtube vid called how to get good at fighting games, which apply to all fighters. and maybe skill based games in general
Hooyen Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Thanks a lot guys! (Special thanks to Airk though since his post pretty much on point.) : D
