Sophisticat Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Yeah, falling.C combo is a pain to get down. I still don't have it right myself. Sol has it right for the tips, though. Not much more to it than practice, though I guess I'll add... Doing: 1) f.C: Timing. I do it so I hit C a bit after Haku's legs bend. 2) 2c -> sj.2c: Tricky. You have to go back to neutral just as you hit 2c, then hit 7/9. Gotta do it fast. 3) sj.2c -> AD j.2c: I just mash 66/44, then hit C/2c asap. Scrubby, but it works. AD timing after a j.2c isn't something I find intuitive.

The timings are somewhat strict, but nothing specially hard. Hell, I can do it easier online than offline because I'm already used to it.

Sophisticat Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 You can't underestimate this combo! It's harder than Slayer links! But really, no one's blowing it out of proportion at all. We're just saying it takes practice. On a slight tangent, am I the only one to find it an odd bnb, both visually and input-wise? The timing/spacing is harder than your average bnb, and it doesn't look like a bnb at all. I can't deny the advantage it can confer in terms of damage and positioning, though. Anyway, not complaining, it's just a weird combo for several reasons.

Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 everyone else's bnb's is mashing the alphabet! but no haku had to be different he has to have inputs and timing, i was online today and i was dropping combo's and links, i'm like fuck i dropped 5k damage because i suck online, i'm like fuck TK hotaru didn't wanna come out so i eat 3k damage, ruin my life man ruin my life. edit: i like using 421B(1)>236A>623A so much its simple and if they are near the wall i can mash a meaty and tick throw, so juicy. i need help on learning some mid level setup's i'm done with kiddy street.

Leonil_Requiem Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 lol yes it is worth it because it's 3 cost and 4000+ damage, 6B has alot of forced proration and it most commonly end up making what ever you do after it a waste of magna. also it's not that hard of a combo, 2 hit confirms in it. if want to use a 6B combo after 3C CH the best one is 3C CH > 6B > 623AA > jc > falling j.C > land > 2C > hjc > j.2C > airdash > j.C

An do you remember what i sent to you miso, 3C noels that run in and throw anti airs, always land counter hit. Remember someone talking about it prorating like no other(it's not that bad is it?). Bad habits are bad :o and please use number notation. That notation is annooyyiinngg (though I realize you just copy pasted it so it's fine i guess)

And yeah 3c on tager is fine since tager's so slow :P (max range of course, if he's up close command grab works) people don't always block low on wake up, just tip them with it, what they are gonna do? jump? they get hit before they can, they try to use a DP, your too far, if they block low (lol) IB or no free punish, that shit is so free, but only at max range, any other spot and its stupid. 6B has slow start up and your risking a DP and its minus 1,000 frames on block meaning wasting meter to make it safe lets not go further on that lol. not saying 6B is a bad move but why use it when your job is not even getting that close in the first place, i only wanna get that close if i'm gonna throw.
