Of course, this was before I realized he was insane and that there were going to be tons of girls making yaoi shit of him. Oh well, been with em since CT, he's flashy as hell. Just my fav character in the roster.

AchedSphinx Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Nu was my main in CT and in CS it's Lambda. I know now that I was horrible as Nu back then, but my Lambda is better for it. Anyways, I picked her because she's serious cute. It's quite humorous how often my main can die, but she will always be my main! :D

Lurrdoc Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I played Blazblue originally playing Bang because I liked his moveset. Then once BB:CS came out I fell in love with TSUBAKI for her storyline. I was so empathetic towards her. From then on I tried playing her and found her moves to be to my liking. I've mained her ever since. The only thing is... I bought the game, but I don't own the console. So I can only play it at my friends' house when I choose to visit him. I wish I could put so much more time into her than I already do. Thus far I'm only at challenge #7. I just can't do the midair double dash yet.

Unfortunately for me, Blazblue only really has two characters who fit that, and the other one is Tager (I'm not really into grapplers.) ...although I'm still hoping that they finally introduce a third. Maybe even a female character? Kokonoe in a mech? I can dream...

But slow-but-powerful isn't exactly a bad way to describe Carl, given that nirvana is sluggish at best and you'd be a fool to fight without her if possible.
Valthazeryus Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I believe I read somewhere, a long time ago, from the guy who said Relius and Kokonoe were rumored DLC back in like Jan 2011, that Kokonoe will be based around spells (like her mother) and possibly just be another range character.

I had played Guilty Gear before, so I figured I'd be fine with pretty much any character. I picked Hakumen and got destroyed, wondering why the game wouldn't let me chain moves together. When I got CT myself, I mostly stuck to Ragna and Noel. I didn't really know what I was doing and just screwed around on arcade mode. I wanted to get a little more serious about CS/CS2, so I went through challenge mode and found that Tsubaki fit most closely to how I wanted to play. Now I main Tsubaki.

EchoGreen Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 When I first put the disc in I went to Arcade, and checked the portraits. I fell in love with Carl, Rachel and Arakune instantly. Turned out Carl was a pain in the ass to learn, Rachel didn't completely click with me, and Arakune was everything I could dream of. After story mode I was even more certain of my choice.
TaiyakiTime Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 It was back in the time I was watching Bakemonogatari, and I was loving the voice actors in the Anime. One night I felt like researching their seiyuus, and checked Hitagi Senjōgahara. Going through the list of roles in Wikipedia, I looked at the games she's done and saw that Blazblue was one of them XD. Also by coincidence, BlazBlue CT was released only a few days after the first episode of Bakemonogatari. So you could say that I started BB after finding that out, and mained Taokaka since. Taokaka's character design is amazing and fresh to me, while her character is absolutely the cutest. However, going online... Taokaka was either very disadvantaged due to netplay, or like... some people online... a D masher that should be punished, but is fortunate that it is online. So I moved to Tager as a Sub/Main to add variation to my play and to be able to punish a little easier in terms of less moves to pull out. I still played Taokaka to better learn how online works... or doesn't XD. BBCS, I moved back to focusing on Taokaka while subbing Tager. Although still feeling salty with failing to learn how to play online, I still give my best to being a friendly, try-hard-to-finish-any-combo Taokaka. For future games I plan on staying with my Tao and Tager. TaiyakiTime
tjtj012 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I started the game maining nu cause she looked cool, but my friends got mad cause she was too top tier so i switch to tao. When CS came out I realized I couldn't use tao for shit so I just cycled through characters until I found tager. Not only was he easy but he was fun to use, until I started playing online and realized he had a bad matchup with EVERYONE. i kinda regret settling on him but i still have fun trying to play matchups like HZ-TG or LA-TG
Ml131 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Mike Z inspired me to become his successor. Poor Tager's been bad since CT, but hell, it's somewhat paid off in Extend. Not only does he have the weirdest grappler physics I've seen, but some memories involving shenanigans and grabs are just downright hilarious.
