To anyone who doesn't get Heavy Day Lyrics...

The Clown who "gave them a grand old time" for a price is the Violator from Todd McFarlane's Spawn... pretty sure.  :EDD:

Like?

Because id really like to know the context of making a contract with a clown comes from.

I don't have a clue about the actual story (and don't care really, guilty gear story + ramlethal looks silly) but something like "made a bargain with a fool" would make sense as a lyric to me, like you've got involved with either an idiot or a backstabber (or both).

likely the backstabber as after that it says "nobody doubted his truer purpose oh yeah!"

So... Ramlethal's theme features a freaking bagpipe!? For some reason I find that fitting for her...

...GET THE KILTS EVERYBODY.

Oh yeah, you're right, Vulcan, I went back to check, and that is straight out Dignity right there. Ishiwatari sure didn't leave out the references here!

We talking about the "copied by ear" Ramlethal theme that appeared recently? How accurate do you think it is?

I'm at least talking about both. I heard the bagpipes on a Jourdal vid about two days ago, then I heard it in the recreation on Niconico. It sounds pretty accurate, probably more accurate than how I'd have made it.

I'd like seeing the recreation actually, send it to me via PM or on my profile, I can use the MMCafe niconico converter. unless someone has in on YT at this point P:

Tsuyoshi Koyama (Bang) and Naoki Hashimoto (Outrage) will be guest in the next concert.

Okay, now I'm expecting expecting performances of Heavy Day and Bang!Bang!BigBang!

Hope they do Reppuu II with vocals.

I've been trying that myself actually, I bet the seiyuu will do a better job than I have. Lol

I dunno... He sounded kinda drunk/ill at the last concert...

If we're talking about the BBxGG one at 2011, then yeah, I'll agree that he sounded a tad exhausted.

Here's something out of nowhere to think about:

While I was tinkering with an arrangement-recreation of Millia's Xrd-theme, I kept getting strange deja vu towards Black & White, which I thought to be strange, cause I felt those two were two different kind of themes. But upon further analysis, I found out that the two have very similar structure: They're both in D-tuning, they both have the same beats per second (plus/minus one or two beats) and they both have the same route of segments, that being:

A (Intro Riff Part 1) -> B (Intro Part 2/Ending Riff) -> C (Verse) -> D (Build-up for chorus) -> E (Chorus) -> C -> D -> E -> F (Bridge) -> D -> E  -> B -> G (Wrap-Up)

So that made me wonder, what other Ishiwatari-pieces from BB do you think are similar to GG in terms of their structure? Cause I'm pretty damn curious about that now. XD

Oh wow so I'm not the only one who noticed this lol. It's been eating at me for a while.

As for other themes, although it isn't a BB and GG comparison, I've always thought Weak Executioner and X-Matic have had somewhat similar parts in them.

The Orchestral arrangement of Ky's Xrd theme is just . . . TOO strong!!!

Wait...what orchestral version?!
