Could just as easily say that Lambda is another Noel, or that the Amaterasu girl is the "real Lambda." It's safe to say that she's the progenitor, but I don't know if what we have is enough to believe anything beyond that. Then again, they've been dealing with multi-verses and time travel the whole time, so fuck it, maybe it's parallel-universe, far-future Noel Vermillion. Although I would suggest that the only way the girl in Amaterasu is actually a straight copy of Noel is if she also ends up being annoying and clumsy. She would have to be the same across the board in terms of memory/personality (to get around continuity issues identity-wise) in order for it to be any different than what they've already been doing with their cloning shenanigans; otherwise it's no different than if she were simply a standard progenitor that they made 14(?) copies out of, with Noel as we know her being one such result.

Master Of Chaos Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 It stands to reason that Izanami's not dead. If we follow the current trend, she'll have to have an Act 3 story along with the rest of the cast, just like Nine does now that Act 2 is out.Â

There's a big discrepancy between Ragna's ending and everyone else's and that's what got me concerned. Maybe that was one big wake up call that will help Ragna to regain his memories, since according to Zed's translation, she said nothing had changed as a result of him trying to kill her.Â

There's not too big a discrepancy when you consider Nine's ending has someone defeating Izanami, only for it to be undone. Nobody defeats her, Ragna defeats her, it gets undone, Act III happens, defeat the undo-er. Cake for everyone, stop having dreams.Â

Which makes me wonder if that's the case, why would Amaterasu reset time so it would benefit someone who wants to destroy her? *lightbulb* Maybe Amaterasu/Big Noel WANTS someone to defeat her, possibly with the power of several characters at once. The time loops could be out of its hands and it wants someone to stabilize the timeline so that things end up ideal. Rachel could assume it wants to be protected and that's why she deploys the Tsukuyomi Unit every time it's attacked. What was Rachel's story about "the girl" again? Could've been some big foreshadowing towards who it is or what it's doing.

Noel is indeed a clone, but there also happens to be a "clone" of her. So instead of having 2 girls (Saya and Noel), we now have 3 girls (Saya, Original Noel/Saya clone, Noel). At least thats what I got, and it seems like the original Noel is from a different timeline altogether.

Azrael getting rekt is basically obligatory at this point. Nine killing Celica would probably be enough for her to chill out. Terumi is boldly going nowhere as long as Hazama isn't interested in merging bodies. But some of these plot twists are going borderline M. Night Shaymalan at this point.

Hell, some already theorise that Ragna himself is a Prime Field Device (No. 5), so it would make some form of sense (probably).
