As for the various final opponents in each character's Act III. I thought it would be interesting to look at what confrontations we know are going to happen based on the CG's we've recieved. From the Opening: Hibiki vs. Hazama: Probably Hibiki's story since I can't see Hibiki being important enough to be Hazara's final opponent. Kokonoe vs. Nine: Probably Kokonoe's story since it looks pretty incompatible with the image of Nine and all the Nox. Makoto vs. Izayoi: Probably Makoto's story since we have another image that would fit Izayoi better. Carl vs. Noel: Almost certainly Carl since it focuses on him and Ada. Hazama vs. Terumi: Could be either one of theirs, not enough context for me to decide. Mu vs. Nu: I think it's Mu's based on positioning but it could easily be Nu's. Ragna vs. Jin: That image of the two clashing at the end seems way too prominent for this climactic clash not to happen. From Gamer's preview: Jin vs. Noel or possibly Jin vs. Kagura: We see Kagura interfering to protect Noel. Assuming the quotes shown with the image happen while the CG is shown it is more likely that Kagura arrives to save Noel as opposed to it being his fight which would presumably have pre-fight dialogue with Jin. Then again it could have been Kagura vs. Noel but he has a change of heart and decides to protect her from Jin. Naoto vs. Rachel: I think it's Naoto's since the dialogue from the trailer suggests Rachel's final opponent is Izanami. Izanami vs. Relius: Probably Izanami's since the dialogue is about her existential crisis and Relius is barely in the shot. Then again it seems to be in Izanami's stage so that might mean it's Relius's. From the Trailer: Izayoi vs. Hakumen: Probably Izayoi's. Jin's Act II reveals that only the Zero-Type Izyoi can kill Noel and he intends to make Tsubaki do it. Him telling her this would explain why she's so distraught in the CG and the focus on her emotions would make it more likely her story. Lambda vs. Relius: Probably Lambda's since Lambda doesn't seem quite significant enough an opponent for such a heavy lifter in the plot as Relius. Valkenhayn vs. Amane: It looks to be from Valkenhayn's perspective due to his rage and the location doesn't fit with the one of Amane in the opening. Rachel vs. Izanami: No direct confirmation but the ending CG of her standing alone doesn't fit with the one of her fighting with Naoto, suggesting a different opponent. The extended dialogue from the trailer seems to fit with a Rachel vs. Izanami fight that ends with Rachel's final line and that CG. The focus on Rachel in the final shot and Izanami's opponent having a high chance of Relius make this likely Rachel's story. I probably put too much thought into this but oh well. Thoughts?
Toxin45 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Don't believe in openings or trailers sometimes Rachel at the end of the act III seems to be more based on the seen with Act II also I doubt she would fight Izanami again So probably Naoto again. Ragna vs Jin at the end seems to early I was hoping for Story mode would be during the climax. Plus Izanami is seen suffering an identity crisis. Also Rachel is seems to be to occupied with Naoto regardless probably going mad about her true origins. Ragna appears to be talking to someone on act III and it's not Jin I think it is Amane I mean Amane knows whats really going So Ragna is probably going to him for Answers.Ragna wants to know the truth Also I watched Jin and Hazama's act II arcades
Stryker115 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Or it could NOT be Amane and Ragna is actually talking to Takamagahara instead It is at the white space afterall Though we really have no PROOF as to who exactly Ragna is talking to since the one he talks to doesn't speak back to him in the trailer For all we know it might be Sechs, Amaterasu, the Embryo or even the Player aren't we technically Observers as well?

Does that mean she should be dead at this point? It's a complete and utter mystery at the moment. However it doesn't necessarily mean she was dead. People who are dead have a life force of 0. Rachel has no reading at all which is something entirely different.

I mean Clavis and even Raquel had life force while Rachel doesn't grant Clavis's life force was measurable but even he lost it.

Rachel appears to Naoto via Phenomenon Intervention at the beginning of Bloodedge Experience. Yes she is not supposed to exist yet but somehow she is there (it's probably Cauldron shenanigans since we've seen she can willingly travel back in time in the Phase Shift novels). It's one of the many questions that make the absence of a third BE novel incredibly frustrating.

Also worth mentioning that some special creatures have 0 life-force value but can still 'live'. Look at the Apostle that attacked Raquel and lobbed off Naoto's arm in BE1.

That was only a quick explanation of the new game mode(alliance) and a tournament played on act 3. The only new thing really from that stream was that Ragna vs Izanami theme now also plays on Jin vs Izanami matches.

Ragna knew Makoto from being around Kagura, and Makoto says that she didn't want to find Ragna, but since she did she has to restrain him. Ragna says that it's probably on Kokonoe's or Kagura's order, but it doesn't matter. Ragna then asks Makoto if the entitled could feel that the other one is an entitled when close to one and another. Makoto says that she doesn't know how it works, but something like that. Ragna then asks Makoto if she knows where Noel is, but Makoto doesn't know. Afterwards, Ragna asks if any of the entitled have died, but Makoto says that as far as she knows, she don't thinks so. After that Makoto tries to capture Ragna and Ragna reluctantly fights. Ragna arrives to a place that he said that the linchpin was in the basement before. Tsubaki arrives and says that it was like Makoto had reported. She also says that she is going to take Ragna's life in the name of justice and for the world's order. Ragna asks Tsubaki if it's okay for her to do it for the order's sake and not Jin's, and Tsubaki tells Ragna to not say Jin's name so casually, it's a unpleasant feeling. Ragna then tries to ask Tsubaki if she knows where Noel is, but she interrupts him and asks if it's true the Ragna is Jin's brother, and Ragna confirms it. Tsubaki then says that her desire is to cut the chains that is holding Jin back and support him so that he can create a new order for the world. And for that she needs the azure. Ragna is at ease that Jin does have some people that is liking him, but however that desire will “also” be denied. Kagura says to Ragna that he is late, but Ragna says that Kagura was watching the entire time. Ragna asks Kagura why didn't he help Tsubaki, but Kagura says that he didn't want to get in the way for Tsubaki's feelings. Kagura says that he will have Ragna to stay quiet, that he has fought up until now so that everyone could smile and that he won't allow Ragna to get in the way. Or that he won't hand over Noel to him. Kagura says that Noel is needed for the new world, and according to what Ragna said to Makoto, it seemes that Ragna is planning to use in a dangerous way. And since it's Noel, she will probably do want Ragna want her to do. And Kagura can't forgive that she will not consult him about it. Later Kagura asks Ragna to join him instead, but Ragna just laughed at it and is impressed that Kagura would even ask him that. After the battle, Kagura says that Ragna has become strong, or that this is Ragna's true strength. Ragna himself says that Kagura is too strong, that he is a monster like Mad dog, but Kagura tells Ragna to not compare him to that. But soon Ragna thinks an phenomena intervention is occuring, but Kagura says that this is something else. Ragna says in surprise that it was a teleportation sorcery, and Amane says that he shouldn't try to imitate, he nearly made a big interference. Ragna asks what he is planning, and Amane said that he wanted to know what Ragna's goal is. However since they arrived to this place, Ragna was planning to use “Soul Eater” to ask something from Rettenjou. Ragna says that Amane has nothing to do with him, but Amane says that he has. That from now Ragna is part of his troupe. Ragna asks what the hell is Amane talking about, wasn't he after Carl. But Amane says that will take Ragna on the way. However, he is going to take Ragna by force. Amane: You're strong! If it's you it could be a good dance As I thought, please be a part of my troupe! Ragna: I've said no. Don't make me say it any more! Amane: Okay then... Let me choose other words. Become under my observation. Ragna: What? Amane: You're the only one that isn't an “entitled”. Now, an being outside the logic. I can't allow something that is like a baby change this world. Ragna: Baby... baby, huh... Amane: And if you go under my observation... The Black Beast's progress will be slowed down a little. Since Rachel Alucard have lost her powers, only I can do that. I can't approve you to become the black beast again and devour this world. Ragna: … Amane: If you get it, then... Ragna: … I refuse. Amane: What? Ragna I will not devour this world. Ragna: I understand what you're saying. But... Then nothing will change. You only delay the problem, right? Everything will repeat again. Saya... What I fought Izanami, I saw “someone” inside the Master Unit. That is a new born baby? No. That was a girl.
