Yeah, I can imagine it being hard to feel sorry for "True Noel"--if she isn't the Noel we know--when she's only just been introduced and she hasn't had the chance to really impact us emotionally. That is, unless there's a tragic and/or compelling backstory to her that has yet to be touched upon. The illustration of her tethered to that machine and the stuff that's been hinted to why she keeps resetting the world were enough to make me go "Damn. Her life must've been fucked up.", though.

Kagura 3 Makoto 6 Azrael 7 Azrael 8 Izanami Both Makoto and Kagura is surprised to see each others in Ikaruga. Kagura says that Makoto is as big as always, which makes Makoto punch Kagura. Makoto asks Kagura what is wrong with him at a time like this, but Kagura says that this is more important to him than Izanami and the Grim Reaper. Based on what Kagura said, they found out that both are one of the entitled, and Makoto starts a fight with Kagura. After the battle, Kagura asks Makoto how much does she know about the entitled and Izanami. “By defeating Izanami one will get the azure... If one get's the azure ones desire is granted... However only one of the entitled will gain the azure...” So hearing this, Kagura gets why there are so many people in Ikaruga. Kagura is surprised to see Rachel, since she was supposed to be captured in a ship. Rachel says that all of the entitled had been teleported into Ikaruga, and that he should know that. Rachel says that even though he is affected by the Embryo, to think that this is that Black Knight Kagura, how disappointing. Kagura doesn't get what Rachel is talking about. After the battle, Kagura gets that he knows Rachel from before. However, he says that Rachel isn't at full strength, and he asks what have happened to her, or rather what had happened to the world. Rachel says that shouldn't answer this, it's something that Kagura should overcome himself. Rachel tells Kagura to go to Ibikido, and see it with his own eyes. Kagura meets Azrael, and while it's the first time for Kagura to see Azrael, Azrael talks about their previous encounter which confuses Kagura. But Kagura get's a feeling he knows Azrael from before. After the battle, Kagura is losing and Azrael says that he had more fun with Kagura from before. Kagura tells Azrael to shut up about things that Kagura doesn't remember. Azrael leaves and says that he will come to eat Kagura when he have returned to being his former self. Kagura: Tsk... I see. So that is how it is. Izanami: Been a while, Kagura. You don't seem well, what's the matter? Kagura: I hate myself for falling into your scheme. Izanami: Fu... You're as rude as always. Kagura: And? Is this a barrier created by you or something? Izanami: It's not an barrier... Embryo. That is the name for this world. Kagura: Embryo? Then so this is inside that sphere, huh. Seriously, you've done a complicate thing. Izanami: You're going to go against me? You should already know the gap between our powers. Kagura: Ha... so what. I haven't had an easy fight up to now. Like I would think about that. Kagura: I'll cut open the road with my strength... That is Kagura Mutsuki! Izanami: Just how foolish is this man. Izanami: Fufufu... what's the matter, Kagura Mutsuki. Is this really your skill, you who has the name of Black Knight? Kagura: Tsk... you never stop moving...! Izanami: Does it look like I'm desperately evading you? Look more carefully with your eyes. Your blade is reaching me, you know? Kagura: (How can it be. My attacks have been hitting her several times) (why isn't it doing anything to her!?) Izanami: Are you about to understand it? Kagura: Gah! Izanami: Stop it. It's getting pathetic. You've notice it right? I, who is death itself, can't be killed. Kagura: Kaha... Shit...! Izanami: You said earlier something like you will cut open the road. But too bad. Even if you kill me, it's too late for this world. Kagura: … what, do you mean? Izanami: There is someone giving this world shape. As long as you don't kill that person, this world won't changed by anyone. It means that the world you desire will never come. Or could you kill that one... could you kill Noel Vermillion? Kagura: What... Noel... you say? Izanami: Right. Noel Vermillion. She is this world's main cause. She is the one giving this entire world it's shape.

I'll at the very least stitch some videos together again if someone plays arcade mode. :x From what i've seen of the Act III trailer, it seems Kagura can't fathom killing Noel. Jin on the other hand... Also, it's looking like Azrael just has free reign inside the Embryo now. While it doesn't seem like he can bend the rules of the world like Relius can with his magic, Azrael doesn't seem the least bit hindered in comparison to much of the cast. Azrael's Act II hasn't been translated yet, but it seems that he's made a pact of some sort with Izanami based on the Act II teaser translation. Seeing as how he values nothing but violence, maybe the pact was to be her personal blood knight?

There have been many people who have been teleported to here, and it's propaply only s/he who could have done it. Kokonoe was about to ask Kagura to do something, but Kagura asked her if she was his ally or enemy. So Kokonoe said what if I am your enemy. After the battle, Kokonoe and Kagura isn't either allies or enemies, they only cooperates for their own interest. Kokonoe notices that the memories of this world is created, and asks to investigate the others, that the info about Izanami is the highest priority, and that Kokonoe herself will look for Noel. Kokonoe senses that there is something different in Arakune from before. Arakune had already nox in his body, and attacks Kokonoe to gain her knowledge. After the battle, Arakune couldn't defeat Kokonoe since he didn't have enough noxs. Arakune says that he needs Noxs in order to surpass Kokonoe. Kokonoe thinks that Arakune have noticed something, and she thinks that she can't allow Arakune to get the azure. Kokonoe asks Relius if it was him that taught Roy about the Noxs, and Relius says that even though she is affected by the embryo, her soul has become boring. And the reason seems to be because Kokonoe have met Nine. After the battle, Kokonoe asks Relius why is the master unit not existing in this world, and Relius says that Kokonoe will know the answer soon. Izanami says that Kokonoe was misunderstanding, the Master Unit was always there she only couldn't see it. Izanami says to Kokonoe “you need the azure to defeat Terumi, right?” and they battle. After the battle Izanami says that Kokonoe has the qualification to take the azure, but Kokonoe says that she has no intention of taking it. Izanami says that Kokonoe is arrogant, and that is want one could expect from Nine's daughter. Kokonoe states that, that Nine is under Izanami's control. But Izanami says that Nine's is freed from Mind Eater. Kokonoe asks then why does mother hate the world, but soon gasped because she realized something. Izanami says that it's obvious that Nine would point her blade against god since the world itself was denying everything of Nine. And that Kokonoe should know it, that the god... the core of the Master Unit is the main cause of everything. And that killing it, is Nine's desire.

Nah, he's becoming the protagonist, where he is led by everyone to do stupid things and get beat up by everyone. So regarding the tale of the girl, I think we're looking at it the wrong way. Sure, reading it just basically screams Calamity Trigger. but there's something beyond that. We know that we have a girl (True Noel) trapped inside the master unit. We also know that the story says that the Girl was trapped inside the monster and it kept rewriting the story from inside of it. Nu never had the power to actually do any kind of phenomena intervention, so she's ruled out. So if the time loops of CT were made by Amaterasu, the Girl could be this True Noel. However, two parts of this story bother me. "The Girl wrote a story in book, relying on her own memories" Playable Noel was supposed to be blown to smithereens in the first loop, so what kind of memory could she have? Then again, Slight Hope had Makoto mention Noel and no one remembering it, except for Hazama, and he did not react well to that. So that Noel could be inside the Master Unit at that point. Still doesn't explain the memories though. "A hero appeared and defeated the monster" If we were talking about the Black Beast or CT Nu, that would've made perfect sense. However, the Master Unit is still very much alive and kicking Phenomena Interventions left and right. Continuum Shift was pretty much Takamagahara spreading out a bunch of possibilities and then observing them to see which one could lead to them getting the Azure, so the Master Unit did pretty much nothing in there. Considering that, we definitely lack a key part of information to fully understand that story. So all we have right now are educated guesses. Figures that when Rachel decided to give out an apparently good plot exposition she wound up messing up and confusing everyone. The story mode of this game will be like, a week long to explain all this stuff.

I'm 99.9% sure she'll wind up betraying Izanami. It's been hinted that she's got a few pages from Terumi and Relius' book. I'm just curious about whether she'll succeed or not.

And she had to fight Terumi for it to appear. 2, It doesn't do a damn thing because "Noel" doesn't allow it. It's a perfect way to make most people hate Noel, like Nu, so they go after her head.

Well he DID more or less "make" Izanami after all. Figures that he'd have a trick or two to defeat her. Not to mention his association with the 10 Sages shown in Act 1 and you know most people don't get to that position easily. Plus while Izanami looks down on Terumi, she more or less treated Relius as an equal of sorts, so this could very well have been a reason for it.

Unit (now revealed to be "True Noel") might've been there since the start of the Blazblue universe (including XBlaze and BE), and that she was perhaps repeatedly rewriting the whole thing, with Touya and Naoto probably being 'different takes' on Ragna (or the way around). However, someone mentioned a while back (yes, I remember everything!) that the resets (or story rewrites) only started just recently. But then the A. Unit is implied--if not outright stated--to have been around waaay before the start of XBlaze, BE, and BB, which begs the questions: Who hosted the A. Unit prior to True Noel, then? Did it have a host prior to her? Did it even NEED a host before that? True Noel is said to be reshaping the world based on her own memories of it. (This might explain the reason as to why Naoto "shouldn't be there," as the girl should never have met him before. But then there's that whole thing about him turning out to be an "entitled one" after all; that's beside the point I'm trying to make, though.) Something compels me to think that True Noel must've *recently taken host of the A. Unit and must only have the ability to rewrite the events from her "birth"(?) up until a certain point. *recently, in reference to a crapload of time Naoto--and possibly others (even Es?)--could either be barging in from outside of this "fabricated world" or were part of it all along. This could either imply that: a.) Blazblue may not take place in "the future" as many have thought, and it might very well be taking place in its own "dimensional bubble thingy" during either XBlaze or BE. I HIGHLY doubt it, though. Or b.) Naoto (and possibly Es now) might've somehow stumbled into a future warped by True Noel (via the boundary?). Naoto himself is even said to go "wtf" at the events unfolding before him in one of the previous posts in this thread.

If I understand it correctly Amaterasu is the one who decides who is entitled or not, so does she not give a damn about Ragna? That's kind of messed up since he has done a lot of stuff story wise to move the world in a more desired direction, while Terumi, Hazama, Nine, etc are actually trying to destroy Amaterasu, yet she acknowledges them as entitled? Like what the hell. I mean it would stand to reason that he deserves to be an entitled as much as anyone else. Even far above Noel Vermillion.
Toxin45 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Well Izanami got owned but I doubt that she would be out cold for that long and I bet Relius will discover his world only to realized that it didn't grant him his wish because of Noel so Izanami tells him to go after Noel and I guess he goes to do that. Well The Other Noel inside the master unit apparently doesn't want him to get involved and Noel Vermillion is apparently apart of the Master Unit so....

Axiomatic Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 There is something rather endearing about Tao's pictures (even with as little plot relevance they may have ) since the majority of the other characters (well intended or not) have used him or are using him for their plans. It's really sweet. Too bad we don't know if he can get all his memories back or not; we know that he started remembering Rachel and the fact he needed to see Saya at least.
