Unfortunately I couldn't stay long but I'll definitely be back! I can't say how soon what with vacation next week, exams the next and then more vacation for the holidays but I'll give it another go.

I see Eric (Kamui Moon) all the time and I don't see him lurk around in these particular threads, so asking him to edit is out of the question, I think. I'd like to gather information for all the local Fightnight scenes (Cinci/Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland, wherever else) so people who still look through this forum for wanting to meetup somewhere can have all updated information, etc.

Izusa Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Oh um, I think I can cover that. Most of us have moved to the Columbus Facebook Group (which... is good for it's own usage, but..) I'll hold my tongue on that. We usually play at the Donatoes basement on Campus on Weds around 8 or later; a few of us are playing BBCP, I got back into it a week later. The address is - 2084 N. High St and parking is on Frambes Ave, just up past the parking meters. Unless you feel like burning money for two hours to walk less. IIRC, we have a Terumi player, an Iron Tager, a Hakumen, Taokaka, and I myself play Nu-13. edit : We also kinda sorta play Persona 4 if someone set's it up, and some of us'll be at Ranbats this weekend.

Last time I went, I left early Saturday morning, and got a hotel for the night so I'd probably do that again.

Izusa Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 There's been some discussion going on in Columbus about possibly running a tournament. Some of us are onboard, but the problem as usual with Columbus is that I don't think we'd be able to get a big enough venue to run what we want. But I'm curious to see if any anime players would come out to support this tournament if it does happen. He's looking for feedback on what would bring people to play / what would keep them away. Any ideas? As long as there's Guilty, I'm good over here.

Last I asked, I think I was carpooling with Soi and Amadeus down there. I want to try and get in as much GG as possible, tbh. Tournaments at Columbus does sound interesting. Where exactly is it being held? We're discussing it, like we've got three locations ; Someone brought up using a Community College hall, but I'm against it just because parking is going to be awkward, and so is commuting to get food. Get in the wrong lot you're going to get your car pulled. The other venue we were looking at was 16-bit's Barcade. They were discussing Marvel and Street Fighter being ran there, but honestly, I'll try to sneak in some anime there. Third venue was this food place being built off the same formula as the Barcade up here in Cbus, the only problem is that after 9 PM it's 21+ only, which honestly isn't that bad. We're still planning it honestly, but I kind of want to see Columbus get back into playing in competitions again, so I'm asking around and seeing what we have to do to get out.

None of my cosplay stuff is ready lmao.  edit : Also there's another BUCKEYLAN tournament next week on the 29th if anyone would like to show up for Guilty Gear casuals, they also run Blazblue but I don't know if it's tournament standard. Most of their money comes in from Capcom and KoF games. We've opted to run some Guilty Gear, but they don't feel like it'll show any wood work.
