Since the rehaul of the site is anyone having problems signing in? Whenever I try and sign in, it says thanks now redirecting and then returns me to the same page showing I have no signed in.

It's because the url's have been switched around. Try disabling your cookies or fix your book marks. Just go in from the front page. I had the same problem too, but I had my user cp bookmarked.

Otherwise, you guys may need to make another visit because Gundam vs Gundam NEXT is now 50 cents. This is very awesome, I'm actually playing the game again due to the price drop! Don't forget that on Feb 20th is the Arcade UFO tournament! :D you guys would have a tourney down there the week i get 40+ hours at work
Zerite Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Hey pozer, what are the odds on getting any kind of semi-regular event, like a ranbat, going for guilty gear? I know it would be really small, but I would still probably go up to Austin for something like that once or twice a month. What sort problems with holding events like that cause? I'm curious because I still enjoy guilty gear a lot, and want to see some formal competitions for it, and an arcade seems like the perfect place.

Even when out-of-staters show up to UFO for tournaments, there isn't exactly a huge push for GG. It's not worth the effort to organize something because 2 people say they'd show up for it. There's probably a bigger chance of a Melty tournament than a GG tournament in the near future. If you want to show up to UFO "semi-regularly" to play GG, let us know and I'm sure all 2 of us would be glad to play GG with you.

Zerite Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Why do people call it SSF4? Isn't it just street fighter 4? Also, is anyone going to any of the major tournaments coming up? There's final round and evo and maybe others that'll have GG, so I'm game if it doesn't have shitty timing.
