Is it just me, or did his zipper get WAAAY bigger?

It's the reason his dash is slower.

Weight doesn't effect gravity, just velocity. =P

I hear this game releases in ~1 month. Very close to 1-year after Calamity Triggers release.

If we're talking real-life physics here, weight (or mass, I should say) doesn't affect gravity or velocity. It affects acceleration and momentum. Velocity is only distance/time, it has nothing to do with weight. :eng101:

What concerns me most is that the added weight of the zipper in question should increase the force applied by Carl on whatever he lands on according to the formula Force = (Mass)(Gravity). Thus, the damage should be higher. In fact, if you solve the formula:

oh yeah. Hey!

Hey! My Carl improved so much after we played. But since school started...you know. It's like when I don't play, I get rusty, and Nirvana literally gets rusty.

Anyway, I don't want to get this thread too off topic. I just had to post math shenanigans. It took a discussion of physics to convince this engineering major to finally register.

I wouldn't worry about getting too off topic here in the Carl boards. Kyle sets things straight when he needs to, but he doesn't really need to all that often.

Here's hoping for Nirvana to get a stamina increase... Before the first loketest, I was speculating that ArcSys would, without a doubt remove the infinite, but that they'd give Nirvana like 12-14k stamina. Boy, did they sure fool me:eng101:

Nirvana with 12k hp+fast regen would be the dumbest shit ever. Soooooo glad there's another loketest. I started playing Melee again in anticipation of dropping BB.

I don't know...I think Ada needs a bit more HP. 12k would be broken.

But when I originally thought of 12k, there was no 'fast regen' in mind. I was thinking this before the 1st loketest, and The justification was that they'd probably remove his infinite and keep him pretty much the same.

I'm not sure I get most of the test 3 changes. Basically... Overheads are still overhead? Is that what we're getting at here? :P
