Lots of switching to Fiona when player loses first match. I know Akane will be character of choice for tier whoring. People will jump on picking Lilica upon realizing she isn't as execution heavy anymore. No characters of skill like Dorothy, Nazuna, Maori, Yoriko will be picked. Nobody will pick Eko because even though she's fun to play as, she's 5. Also, people will pick Heart not realizing she does shit damage in AH3.

Fiona is ass, but character love is what's making people choose her. Akane might be the tier whore character, but according to the newest tier list from Arcadia magazine, Elsa is #1. Also Eko is 4 :V and heart does no damage. 12k man? Not enough.

There's something about picking a character a good majority of players main as well that doesn't sit well with me.

Quit worrying about how many people are playing "X-Character" and just pick whoever you like the most, and stick with them. If anything, playing as a generic or often seen character is a good thing, since if you are an actually decent/good player you have more chance to stand out from the horde of mediocre/trash players. In the event you run into people who say "Wow, using that overused easy noob character is the only reason you won" then just ignore them. One less scrub mindset to cater to. But seriously, top 5 characters you will see are going to be Weiss, Kamui, Heart, Fiona and Saki

The first major console AHF! tourney in the U.S. was at Season's Beatings 2 and more than half the entrants were Kamui. D: With the cast being twice the size now, I doubt that we would see that kind of polarization ever again. And yea, Elsa is the #1 character by far. As far as localization goes... Voting for AH3 to get localized by Aksys in the U.S. is great and all, but you guys do realize that poll thread wasn't even official in the first place, right? You don't know if it's going to happen even if AH3 'wins' the poll. Even if a localization takes place, I won't count on the game coming out in the States for another year at the earliest. If you really care, import the game and support the scene early.
