Gravelneed Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 That's me, Gravelneed. Crap, how could I forgot you post in here from time to time. lol I remember you had made a post wanting to know what Weiß and Schar's roles are in the game. If you have any questions about the story, I could tell you if you still want to know.
SolarMisae Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 helpful stuff That answers all my questions. ^^ Cathy definitely sounds like my kinda girl then. Zoning and oki are probably my favorite playstyles. Thanks so much for all of that.

I think I may have some questions after the game is released and I play Story Mode myself, so I'll be sure to ask when I do.
Chuchulachu Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 yooo~ I plan on importing AH3 when it comes out but the thing is, this'll be my first official AH game sooo in a quick shammwow can someone give a brief description of what's in stored? :8/:

Circuitous Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 ...read the goddamned thread? Why are you importing the game if you don't know what you're in for? Watch a YouTube video.
Mightfo Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 yooo~ I plan on importing AH3 when it comes out but the thing is, this'll be my first official AH game sooo in a quick shammwow can someone give a brief description of what's in stored? :8/: im not heartnana or anything but: you dont have to play a loli or even a cutesy character, despite varam's joke air mobility, lots of air mobility high amount of heat usage since heat doesnt go away when used, it just goes on cooldown burst and rapid cancel use the same meter separate from heat, goes on cooldown longer if you burst guard cancel dash to get out of pressure, creates a big clash box, nice defensive option that isnt braindead. clashing in this game is actually a big deal and not just mostly flashy learning how your character works with more than one arcana would probably be important unless they dont really have matchups to "counterpick" arcana for and like circ said, though more gently, watch footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPLJIiyjnN4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p13iA6h8zmw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0qoI2LUR8g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLvnJvyJaws http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNkSTfnrZ4E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KV93GEu2VQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TnfAnyzmJk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOpjVrlADUE
Chuchulachu Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Haha you got me there circ, and thanks Mightfo. After watching vid after vid after vid I see why this game is getting the hype
Desov2 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 The third video came out for showing off the new features in the console release.
MiraclePizza Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Now here's a question. Sorry if this has been answered already but when I go on Playasia I see a PS3 version for Japan and a version for Asia. I wouldn't otherwise question if there's any difference but my main concern is why the Asia version is $15 cheaper.
RadRed Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 (edited) Were the Mei-Fang color palettes shown off around the 2:30 mark of that video ('Heartful 1' and 'Heartful 2') custom made ones? If so, that'd be fantastic. I've never been one to import games, but given the fact that the PlayStation 3 is region free and I really enjoyed what I played of Suggoi! Arcana Heart 2 is enough reason for me to seriously consider getting it. Edited December 25, 2010 by RadRed

If so, that'd be fantastic. Not so much custom, the "Heartful" colors are console exclusive colors that can only be unlocked by obtain a certain amount of relationship with a character (ie. using them alot)
SolarMisae Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 So does that only count if you use them online a lot of does using them offline count towards that?
RadRed Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Not so much custom, the "Heartful" colors are console exclusive colors that can only be unlocked by obtain a certain amount of relationship with a character (ie. using them alot) Ah, I see. Thank you for clarifying. I'm hoping that the other 'Heartful' colors look nice. Particularly Akane's and Nazuna's since those are the two characters I plan on using.
SolxBaiken Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 So does that only count if you use them online a lot of does using them offline count towards that? That I'm not a 100% certain on, but I believe it counts towards playing them offline as well.

SolxBaiken Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Concerning the Asian ver, the Asian ver of games are almost always a little cheaper than the JPN ver, they are the same game just sometimes include a translation card (Chinese/Korean/sometimes even English). If you're tight on money the Asian ver is the way to go (thus proving sometimes JPN does charge WAY too much for their titles, hell Tales of Graces F is nearly $100 for the JPN ver and the Asian is only about $70)
furix Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Sometimes the Asian versions even have english text in the game itself. But, don't count on it for day one releases. FFXIII Asian version has japanese voices, but english text iirc.
Hecatom Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 i hope that it gets english text on the menus considering how the gg ports had them too

Alpha152 Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 Since the ratio changes some aspects of the game, will the "wide" ratio drastically change the way the game is played compared to the "original" and is it comparable to SSF2HD where they offered classic and remixed versions online?
