Really bad Rachel, but a Rachel match nonetheless

omg taokaka is so dumb, 4.6k almost 4.7k(vs hakumen) off an air throw without meter. And another drive counter combo that took off 5.1k no meter needed. :vbang: hmm, i think that should be a focus of concern for the rebalancement if it happens.

At 10:09 taokaka's drive attack bounced right off rachel's 6a guard point and she took no damage. Also i have no idea why the rachel was getting hit on counter from taokaka's cross-up kick over and over again :psyduck:

lol at how the match ended. :vbang:

lol i know aoniku's like dammit this isnt ct anymore =/ when he tried to pumpkin cancel 5cc, then 3c set frog.lol and the wind not recharging at all and he was a sitting duck for bout 12secs of the match.

Last vid, you have to work way way to hard to win with rachel.

i dont understand why. she has no glaring weakness expect low health. I dont think enough players complain about her, or people just simply refuse to recognize taokaka's capabilities versus others in blazblue.

you'd be surprised how much low health can bump you down, maybe playing rachel you don't realize how easy it is for hakumen, bang, litchi etc to shut her down, as where rachel's damage finally becomes decent, but her lac of defense is abused.

H.H has been playing CS since launch, but videos are rare. He switched to Litchi anyway, he just alts Rachel now =/

Yep... as far as high level Rachel-only players, we just have Matsu, Kosoru (or should I just call him the TROLLchel?) and... ???

Also I have a question about a combo I saw used a lot. There was a launcher combo where it went launcher>j.b>j.c into a j.2cd. was there a jump cancel after the j.c? and when the j.2cd hit was that a c lobelia they launched afterwards into the j.c>JC>j.c>214c>BBL?

jc>jc+2d>jump cancel>j2c>lily :keke: and is B lobelia not C, the lighter the character you need to delay it, actually i have been doing this combo since March =\

surpirsingly, rachel can only beat Arakune =w=

Aoniku's matches are really interesting. He's definitely the best CS Rachel i've seen out there. Especially with that combo 2a-5b-cdc-236b-forwardjump a.214c-land-j.c2d-j.2c-236b-j.c-j.c-a.214c-632146c and then whatever you want, you get free okizeme or you can even continue to combo a little. I always thought that Baden Baden Lily's best use was the knockdown, and Aoniku seems to favor that also. Squaring off against Dennou and Hima is no small feat, these are very high quality players.

on j2c lv2 will bring u 4.7k dmg using

236b>jcjc>iris~~~~ combo

on 5b start up it will be 3.4k for same combo

any lv 3 j2c will bring up to 5k lsuch as

lv3 j2c>5b>jbc>2d>j2c lv 2>236b>jcjc>iris~~~~ combo

but rather u want to use for more dmg

lv3 j2c>5b>jbc>2d>j2c lv 2> lily>dash behind>hj8d>j2c lv2>236a>3c>iris>6c>jcjc

corner 3 pole + lily will net u a 7k combo, i have been focus my games on corner 3poles all the time, so use 6cd to carry them when u need it.

when i watch those video, not dropping combo is key to win ofcourse, but i paid more attention on the match up, there are so many situation where rachel just cannot move or risk to press any button, knowing how to space and adapte the playing style from the japanese is a must to play CS rachel. CT times where u just spam yuor training mode mix up broken oki aren't gonna work now.

i played in akihabara, ppl there are all solid players, if u don't response/move correctly u will be rushed,so you cannot just do your stuffs, they know exactly wt u can do and wt they need to do.

unlike america, 90% of the players plays thier character and not the game, they will rush really well, even better then the japanese, but they are really weak when it comes to match up or when they are being rushed instead. Most of the times they will lose when they lost their momentum, they can't change thier playing style, if you find yourself in this situtation, is time to think about ur games.

He also played Rachel for the first 2 weeks of BBCT then disappeared. Now he's back for BBCS :psyduck:
