Tofu Warrior Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Sweet. Glad to see somewhere in Canada is getting a cab. Definitely making the trip to play it. Whereabouts do you live?
NoelRin Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Sweet. Glad to see somewhere in Canada is getting a cab. Definitely making the trip to play it. This x1000000. Really can't wait for BB:CS to come to Lovegety and try out Tsubaki.
Irrsinn Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 You know what pisses me off? Mexico is in North America but I can bet my balls that we'll never get a fucking BB:CS Arcade here, not even a BB:CT one. Unfair shit man.

Finally an arcade that I can reach.
Scalpel Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Anyone have any idea if there will be any cabs going to the East Coast? Also, could someone direct me to a thread that has the CT cabinet locations? I haven't been able to find anything on my own. Actually are there ANY decent non-defunct Arcades on the East coast in the VA-MA area?
Burningbatsu Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I'd be surprised if the east coast got it, NJ don't have shit I'd be better off getting lucky if NY got one. But my question is the same as Scalpel only close to NJ like PA or NY. anything at all would help lol dying to play this damn game.
Critical Edge Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 For the love of Christ, NC gets no love. Ever. Arcades don't exist around where I live. Man it sucks.

I can only wish someplace in Jersey eventually gets it.
Tofu Warrior Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 According to Google maps, that's a 4 hour drive from my location. If I can catch a ride... Awesome, we'd get to meet! :D There are so many new faces from Ontario posting in this thread, it makes me so glad. Continuum Shift will have a thriving community and see lots of steady play, which might persuade the boss to bring the price down sooner. For out-of-towners who are looking to make their trip worthwhile, I suggest you come on Friday night for the biggest turnout of players. If you've never been to an arcade before, I promise you, your first Friday night at Gety will be nothing short of magical. The atmosphere is like nothing you've ever experienced before in gaming. Not even tournaments come close to describing it. You might find there's pressure to do well, considering a loss means you have to wait to play again and everyone is watching you, but don't let it discourage you from coming. It's part of what makes arcades so awesome. You have the tense, competitive atmosphere of a tournament coupled with a sense of community and camaraderie. People are more than willing to help you expand your game; in fact, the best way to improve is to ask a lot of questions.

Henaki Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Ugh. Newark. I wouldn't goto Newark even if they did have BlazBlue there. Have you been to Newark ever? Half of the city is incredibly safe. Edit: Pretty much all of the burbs and anywhere near university heights/airport/penn station are all fine. Regardless, see you guys at CF, I'll be the guy beating you with tager

I go to school at Rutgers: Newark. The City is a fucking dump. University Ave is the only section that I feel as if I can walk through unarmed. That, and the Ironbound. And that's only because I have friends there. No, Newark is not safe though. Now to stop being a damn cynic. Tager eh? God dammit. I hate fighting against a good Tager! This oughta be fun!

I'll prolly be the one getting tossed left and right using Ragna cause i fail at using a stick practicing now but still needs work.....alot of it...
Serpentarius Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 No worries. I'm awful with the stick myself. If they do have BB:CS in NY though, i'll have to take a roadtrip once the semester ends in two weeks...
Skye Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 According to Google maps, that's a 4 hour drive from my location. If I can catch a ride... Road Trip! Calling MI BB players, at least one with a car! I'll pitch in for gas money.
ryokoalways Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this. If not, I apologize. Is there anyone I can speak to regarding the Austin arcade situation? I'm going to be in Dallas/Plano, TX for about 2 weeks in the beginning of Jan, so I'm considering a trip depending on how I can maneuver my schedule. Appreciated. Edit: preferably over IM so I don't flood this thread with useless posts.
Spirit Juice Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 You can try posting in the Austin thread in the Match Up sub forum.
factory Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 For the love of Christ, NC gets no love. Ever. Arcades don't exist around where I live. Man it sucks. That's how I feel over here in Virginia. ;~;
