You should've lost way faster, but Pisces was being Pisces and not getting the CH whateverD into combo that does like 4k. Any decent Lambda is going to rip you a new one for those. In the same vein, stop throwing out random full screen moves when Lambda has meter, you're just begging to get hit by her distortion. Stop throwing out your spark bolt full screen. The second you get spark bolt, that's what they're sitting there waiting for. Keep it as intimidation and just walk up to them. Against Pisces specifically, just magnetize and air reset over and over. Pisces air techs every single time.

RCing wasn't the problem I had, its the fact you did sledge follow up then RC'd. You could have done B sledge and RC 2B and gotten the same results and it could have given you a tick throw opportunity. Also block more and stop trying to do stuff when your standing where a rod is set, your telling rachel to get a free hit when you do that. IMO the rachel is legit he just got rachel'd. Brice Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 i know, i'm sorry i was on autopilot that night :P, but thanks i'll remember the sledge RC 2B... i normally use 360B > Asledge > hammer > RC > 5C > AC because it adds extra dmg and when it kills you do it. i didn't think i would hit him with sledge so my tired brain autopiloted to hammer > stuff...... as for purple throws, i'll say internet play is the problem. i never play online except when lots of people near me make a room and tick throwing and stuff gets weird timing and shit

Still, you need to get better at punishing those blocked J2Cs. You had a huge life lead at 1:04, you could have just sat on your lead, waited for Spark Bolt, made him scared of doing random shit, and got in calmly/timed him out. Instead, you sledged your way to death and got hit by her 236236 distortion not once but twice in the round because you were throwing out random shit and getting punished for it. Dropped combo at 3:16 probably cost you GF oki and the match. 3:23 you get hit by another 236236D while you're sledging. That shit killed you in the first round and you're still doing it? 3:43 you get Spark Bolt and you see him walking back. This is a perfectly good opportunity to close some distance by walking and blocking. But you decide to randomly throw the spark when he's obviously blocking and then proceed to random sledge. You're not patient enough, and too sledge happy. I'm pretty sure lambda can punish sledge on reaction with cavalier, so that's not really something you should be abusing as often as you did. TL,DR, be more patient, don't abuse random, highly unsafe moves.

There is no need to fill up the time with a move you couldnt have done anything with anyway simply because its taking a while to get close. Patience is your best friend against the majority of the cast when you play as tager. With that said still did a nice job blocking when you were patient, be sure to use that ability to the fullest and remain patient. Be sure to add some delay to avoid those purple throws, 2B tic throw being your best friend since it gives you frame advantage even on block and the ability to force people in a guessing game with throwing a dp,jumping,or staying grounded. By the way Axis good games we had earlier i have been playing a lot more lately for one reason or the other oh and im not black.

Too many jabs thrown when you could have comboed after some hit confirms in the air and ground. Could have punished that litchi for dashing in and taking the same approach every time but you were always in the air afraid of having distance between each other. Great job in the ib 720 in the corner first round though litchi is a pain in the ass and that goes without saying.

You also jump an awful lot vs Lambda. Yeah, you get closer but so much predictability they can just dash under you and fullscreen again instead of corner. Work on execution and baiting bursts. Also, find some better players! There's tons of halfway decent to really good players online.

A lot more patience displayed in those videos I will say that. If you are gonna block that much going to work on 360 reversals on her jump ins. Notice patterns more I would go for a reset everytime until he stops teching in the air. Bait those bursts if he is going to be so obvious about the them.

Though I'd have just ended the combo normally. Tips: Block overheads. Didn't block one at all during the fight. End combos in Gadget vs Noel more. She has to waste meter to get a reversal out, so you can just play the mixup game on her. She really has no answer that works well out of Gadget. Teach me how to get crossup 5D to hit Noel and punish her Counter Assault Needs less mashing out of strings with 5A/2A and more blocking in general. She's -10 or worse on her enders in drive strings so it's a free punish for you. But if you mash out you'll get countered in crouching state (Saw this a lot) But luckily the Noel passed up lots of damage. =/ Play against better Noel players. He wasn't the best at hit confirming combos/knowing when they can tech. Overall you were outplayed but thanks to a few wrong guesses and a lucky/yomi CA bait you won.
