Tokkan Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 How did you get energy from エンゲージ, which would actually be "engage", a word that has nothing to do with energy?
zephyr07 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 How did you get energy from エンゲージ, which would actually be "engage", a word that has nothing to do with energy? huh. i could have sworn i saw energy. ok i'll go change it. Not like it matters anyway the whole song is grammatically incorrect, changing one word won't affect the nature of the song.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Just listened to the new intro. Infinitely better than that kotoko shit. Dam straight.
Vulcan422 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 (edited) Lol. How did blind end up in there? Didn't see a word of it in the jap text. google translate is weird. Anyway: Deep Blue The blue black forest which eats up the darkness The branch of fate that seeks the light... pushes on. Whose lifeline is that red thread which you're reeling in your hands? The eroding memories are already driving your truth mad Burderned with eternity you stare Shed off the scary fiction now, and ask this heart A rusting engage, A race to infinity In the ragnarok of the Blue which has lost it's way How long will the sword be swung? A spirit that will not surrender Distressed Monochrome, towards a sky with no exit Towards the far-off where chaos is raining down incessantly Even then will you still fly high? To answer you must redeem... the future. She's singing about jin? I think? And curse the improper grammar of jap songs. Going to try my hand at putting this into a more literal translation, like how most dubbed anime nowadays subtitle the opening lyrics. Within the blue forest consumed by darkness, A branch of fate searches for the light...and reaches out. That red-colored thread you're reeling in, whose life does it hold? While eroding memories are deluding you from the truth, You stare continuously, all the while burdened. Renounce this frightening FICTION and look inside your heart. ENGAGE yourself in this intense race to INFINITY. Within this chaotic blue RAGNAROK, How long will you wield your blade? As long as your spirit doesn't give in. A gloomy MONOCHROME marks a cloudy sky And a chaotic maelstrom in the distance. Considering this, will you still attempt to fly? To find the answer you must redeem...the future. Michi Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Yea, considered those too, since what I heard was different. But the lyrics I posted was from the one zephyr posted which was from the episode itself. Still confused though. Thank you for the corrections.
KayEff Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 You guys need to rely more on the IME pad and less on what you hear
zephyr07 Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 no, not really. The lack of furigana is what's causing the problem. What you hear may be correct; what the word is intended to sound like, not how it's actually pronounced, so going with hearing is more reliable than looking at the kanji

I'm currently working on subbing the op. This time I'll do 2 version: karaoke and karaokeless version.
A.K. Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I hope you three don't mind but, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlV4nsNnupQ I took a look at some of the romaji and it looked right as far as I know, just "Mune ni tou" I didn't hear tou exactly, I heard Toi.
Fulgent Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 I haven't seen the ep yet, tommorow I think. Next is last? All things come to an end I guess.
Blade Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Goddammit I want all of these on BlazBlue-Ray.
Fulgent Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Finally saw it. :yaaay: A good episode. During the Astral Finish segment, Sol badguy sounded just like in the games. Also, that Tsubaki song is the next intro? Sounds good. Also, that Blazblue mobile battle thing they played with Rachel and Ragna was humorous. Lots of funny illustrations like that band that was exhausted. I still don't know enough japanese to understand whats being said. Lots of good fan arts by the way. Based on the amount of kanas and words that were flying past the screen, I'm guessing some were extremely popular with the people. The Hazama thing with the book and saying stuff about it that scared some other blazblue people was funny. Lots of good stuff this episode. Overall, it was great I think.
Hawka Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 The new Intro with Tsubaki's song is already out Fulgent, just check it out on youtube like on Jourdal's channel if you're interested

Vulcan422 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 You can still submit them as long as it's before the 9th of December.
lightl Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/1291268216 Nesica system special is up Edited December 2, 2010 by lightl Corrected provided by Tokkan
Tokkan Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 That's not episode 13, it's an explanation of the Nesica system done in BuruRaji style.
arctus32 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 hmmm the contents shopping part got me interested, but sadly we won't see the likes of this system any time soon over west :/
Zazz Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 hmmm the contents shopping part got me interested, but sadly we won't see the likes of this system any time soon over west :/ yeah, isn't the Nesica system being only available in Japan the main reason why arcade owners outside of Japan (who probably have enough trouble just being arcade owners outside of Japan) can't import CS2?
Kinezumi Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 How much of the BB Radio is actually translated? I've found Akubitto's YouTube page which has episodes 1-3 plus a load of specials, but that seems to be it. Are there text translations out there, even if the eps aren't subbed? Sorry if this is answered somewhere in this thread; I read the first 5 posts or so and just read back 4 pages from here before deciding to just ask instead. Oh, also, does anyone know if it's possible to download YT videos and keep the annotations? I've got a plug-in for Opera that lets me save them but the annotations (i.e. the subs) don't get saved with it.
KayEff Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Akubitto's is probably the best bet you'll have in regards to Bururaji translations. As for getting annotations, just use a screen recorder like Hypercam
