Just a side note, 5A is the same startup speed as 6C, so they can't tech out of 6C BC 5A. They'll tech after the 5A.

How? If you are barrier blocking during a tech, then how is she hitting you?

Regarding your note, you can replace my statement with 6C and it'll still apply.

And I don't get why you're asking the second question because almost every time you post you mention frame data yet you don't understand why tech rolls can be punished?

I was fixated on air-techs for some reason. Yeah, I forgot about ground rolls. :vbang:

It's all good. I'm not trying to be a dick if my posts come off as that I apologize. I do like your idea of 6C reset and it's not a bad idea. I don't know if 6C requires barrier to block (haven't really touched Noel since CS came out) or not but I know 6A does so I would probably use that to reset since they HAVE to barrier it.

One method would be to watch the throw whiff animation carefully, and use it as a visual cue. Once you know 'where' the throw whiff is done, and you can perform an action again, that's the timing point for the 2nd Forward (and hold it) in the dash input. Work backwards starting your 1st forward a little before the throw whiff animation finished. If you need a little more timing work, push someone like Tager deep in the corner, and do 6A 6C (B+C) 6C (B+C) wash rinse. Once you can get 6 or more reps of the 6C consistent like, probably a good time to start working with the dash part.

Your assessment is correct about it being second nature to many of us, and that comes with lots of practice, naturally. Learning combos take a minute for basically everyone. 16 years into fighters, and I still spend some solid time in Training Mode. Keep at it, no worries pimp.

That is VERY KEY. I haven't got it down pat by any means, but that has made timing my dashes a lot easier to see (albeit still very hard, but that's where the reps come in :eng101: )

:\ been playing this game since it came out in North America and still having occasional issues with this combo... way to make a ridiculously hard combo.
