I'm not sure you'd be able to followup after a 214D~B done in the middle of a combo... typically you only get good damage off it, or combo even, if the flash kick alone is some sort of counter..

"Jayoku, 6D~Ax2, Jakou, dash 3C, Jayoku, 6D~Ax2, Jakou" did just over 6K with room for more I'm betting.

I did it off a FC though, so I'm assuming it'll work just as a regular hit since it only has two 6D~A's on each end of the Jayoku..

Yeah that's good and everything but Zakiyama did F*cking 5700+ dmg with just one Jayoku

with full bar its pretty easy to score the 6000+

the point is he did 5700 with 50% instead of 100%...

OK guys, I've got a new computer that is good enough to handle YouTube (finally). This means that I have been able to watch several Hazama videos and have thus regained my interest in working on the guide. If you have any suggestions, send them my way!

the distortion combos, 236236B->6D~A etc, as well as the 623D rapid combos if you've seen them.

On another note, Idk how many have watched buppa's hazama, but i'm likin it A LOT more than zakiyama's, purely for the fact that he seems a lot more aggressive.

Just curious, whats a good pressure string for Hazama? And what are his options to get the opponent off of him? Only ones I can think of are Jayoku and maybe 214D~C but Im not sure how fast it goes. By the way, do you guys have Hazama's frame data? Im curious...

Pressure strings:

2A 5B is your basic from there you can go for all kind of stuff

2A 5B.. dash in 2A 5B

2A 5B IAD j2C

2A 5B 5C 6C (to safely space out)

and more

as for GTFO options learn to IB 236236B

Hazama doesn't have much options in that matter

You can also do something like 2a 5b 214d~a for a reset (or bnb), or mix it up with 214d~b if they start reacting to it.

I think you meant 214d~b, c is too slow to counter anything. B is a great move just because it is there, and can keep your opponent on his toes while you're in the stance.

Also, seconding the framedata request.

what I've really been looking forward to is the proration for each move. That's hard to get tho =/ btw, combos from CH 6C = ROFL

I don't get this, is there a problem with combos from 6C? Because from what I know it's an easy 4k without using meter. Problem is on how you'll be able to connect the 6C though.

I'll translate it for you :kitty::

Combos from 6C CH: it is astoundly amusing how powerful they are.

hahahahaha indeed! It's just how hilarious it is when you actually get a CH 6C and do tons of damge. I got it twice yesterday and everybody there was like "omg! check that hazama's combo damage!"

4K? I can only go up to around 3.5k. What do you do to get the extra 500?

So I've toyed around with what I posted a few pages back about using an early wiff j.2c on a chain follow to land and continue the combo when you hit with j.5d. Seems like it could really add a nice bit of damage to something that doesn't offer a lot of it with the most common follow-ups. That being said spacing is really really specific and the timing of wiffing j.2c is pretty quick and kinda awkward to get at first. In the end it might just be combo video fodder, but i want to see what I can really get out of it, unfortuantely it's hard to set up specifics without a training mode.

Couple of tips and observations I've been able to make: - A ch no delay 214d-> b has quite a bit of untechable time. From at least iad height it's untechable. - You can get 6d-> a x3, 623d off of a ch no delay 214d-> b. If you're near the corner, the 2b 5c 2c 4d-> d j.c x5, dj.c x5 xx j.214b followup is 2900~ damage, which is pretty awesome for a pseudo-dp. - Still not sure on the spacing for 6d-> a x4 after kick super. I know that if you hit with it point blank you just need to take a minor step back and it'll work on most characters (I also think it's character-specific, but I can't really test it). - If you hit with kick super point blank you don't need to do a dashing 214d-> c. - The easiest way to do the 214d-> c, 5c 2c 4d-> a, 4d-> d combo is to delay inputting the 5c and delay the d follow-up slightly so they fly up a little higher. I tend to always do a dashing 5c as that'll give you the necessary delay. - If you start a ground chain within two hits (5b 3c or 5c 3c) you can do the 5c j.c x5, 2c 4d-> d combo for max heat gain (43%). Otherwise you need to do the 5c 2c 4d-> a, 4d-> d combo, which does slightly more damage but only builds 36% heat (both heat values tested with 5b 3c starter).

How to combo from a j.B+C? I've tried the 2D~D 2B 5C and it only worked a few times. Btw, good stuff WUT, a lot of helpful little things.

j.2d-> d (whiff) only works if you're close to the ground, like landing an airthrow from 5d-> d. I believe that midscreen j.4d-> d will work from higher up, as it'll latch on and give you the necessary hitstun to followup. My reasoning?: corner airthrow, j.2d (hits) -> d, 5b will combo.

.

1)ch 214D~B dash in 6D~Ax2 623D

2)Most characters you don't need to move at all and press the 6D it's kinda hard to explain the timing (and you got plenty) ill try to make a vid or something

haven't tested on all characters but so far only against hakumen you need to add a small backstep

Yeah you can get 6d-> a x3 off of a ch no delay 214d-> b. I mentioned that. And I can confirm that 6d-> a x4 after kick super works on bang, hakumen, arakune, tager, and ragna (and I think zakiyama did it to a Tao?). I couldn't get it to hit on litchi but, as I said, I think it's character-specific (I just don't see how it'll hit Rachel or Carl, for instance).

I can confirm it's possible on Noel but insanely tight, probably better off sticking with 3.
