  2. If Jakou whiffs for me in that combo it's usually because I canceled the dashes too early during the 66>6C>66>5C to get the correct spacing.. Dash not long enough = Jakou wiff Dash too long = techable after j.8D Not sure if that's relevant or w/e..
  3. I'm liking Haz's pressure in CS2 with the whole 214D~A combo enders now.. I just suck ass at his combo's now T-T
  4. It registered as a hit during his BK startup, let him finish the animation, and then shot him up in the air. Just weird.. never seen that before. Usually as soon as JH hits it sends them up.. doesn't let them finish their animations.

  6. It isn't a perfect blockstring if they throw out the overhead. It only combos if your already getting hit, not if she's trying to do it in a blockstring. You don't even need to IB to houtenjin it..

  8. Nice to see you guys tonight. I didn't even plan on going, just ended up a couple exits down tonight and stopped by to see if anyone was there. GG's from the Hazama that was scrubbin it up!

  10. What's Tao's super where you have to duck it? I wasn't really paying attention when it happened because I was screwing with the comp AI, but I did 632146C and Tao did her super on reversal and it connected... Like I said I wasn't paying attention so I didn't try and duck it but It looked like he might have still been recovering from his super? It would be really stupid if that were the case so I highly doubt it, but just curious as to if there is something else that could happen along these lines...
  11. Yeah I checked and I've got 8 Sanwa RG's and 4 extra RG switches that are brand new I wouldn't really mind donating so long as it means the cab is actually going to work... I have the sticks too, but idk about parting with those yet, and they seemed to work well enough when I was there yesterday anyways. I'll probbably post this in the tourny thread too since most people seem to be over there...

  13. Went yesterday afternoon and wtf... the 1p pannel was fucked up and button 2 didn't respond sometimes, and on the 2p side button 4 didn't respond sometimes... Idk if they'd be up for it, but I think I have a pack of brand new OSBN RG's and possibly sticks just sitting at home (I'll have to check) but would they put that shit in if I gave it to them? It just really sucks driving all the way out there to practice and having to put up with that. I know some people like to rock the fuck out of the cabinet when they're playing for god knows what reason, but I'm thinking maybe the RG's will hold up to that a little better, and they don't feel all that different to a regular Sanwa button.

  17. He was talking about the 2nd 2C whiffing, not the one that comes after 5C on the initial launch. And if you dont have/want to use 50% meter off of a back throw on characters that you can't follow up with chain just 236D them after the throw. It's really the only thing that'll connect on them, you can add Noel to the list too I belive.

  21. If you go crazy with the hits before Jakou you can't connect much of anything after the j.6D~D... but the chain will still connect. Like I said though, you can only do it when they're at the very tip of Jakou's range... not almost at the tip, or pretty fuckin close to it.. but at the very tip... and even then it's still not easy to connect the j.6D~D. Pretty damn hilarious with the tech rolls though huh? Even if they're half a screen away they're not safe tech rolling. I had one guy that just tech rolled everyewhere... I don't think he did one neutral tech, and he always rolled out of the corners. On people like that when you know it's coming just do the j.6D~D like you've been doing, and in the corners buffer Jayoku in the opposite direction and as soon as you hear the ping hit B. It'll catch them trying to techroll behind with Jayoku
  22. It's very timing intensive. It works on every character but is easier on some. (IE: Tager, Hakumen, ect.) If you don't connect Jakou at the tip of its range it won't work either. If you're playing someone who doesn't think and just techrolls everyehwere you can catch them during it by using j.6D. Under most circumstances you won't connect a Jakou at the tip of it's range so just do Jakou then jump up and j.6D and it'll catch them techrolling. You can relaunch with 5C,2C,4D~D, ect or go straight into Jayoku.
  23. j.2D~D doesn't connect after j.214B (RC) j.4D~D does, but you can only follow up with 5C>2C after. If you do that try a psychic Jakou when they tech. If they tech foreward your fucked... but if they tech back your usually golden. If you've got 100% meter you can j.214B>(RC)>j.4D~D>Jayoku but honestly RC'ing j.214B is best left for guarenteed kills. For what it's worth you can purple !! grab after the first set of any j.Cx5 combo and follow up with j.4D~D as well... but no one really falls for purple !! grabs all that much...
  24. It does. It's just if you know what characters are ok with (6D~A)x2 then you'll net more damage. Tager is an easy example. But someone like Rachel you HAVE to use the delay because no delay = shitty/no follow up after jakou, and trying a double won't work with her...
