Chomite Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Stick made by Kaytrim. Turned out to be just how I wanted; real class. I can't wait to get my hands on this baby.
Teyah Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Oh my god. Pink/purple Anji with pink stick and buttons and a pink bg. I find that pretty amusing actually... Looks very well done though!
Chomite Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Pink is awesome man. I'm thinking of changing my character color to pink too. @_@
atryu Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 I play with that... (But i have already posted it everywhere...) It's a DIN #15 pin plug to fit the Sigma Supergun. Which is convenient as Sigma relased DIN#15 -> Playstation2 and USB adapters, so it works great on PS2 and PC too.
Chomite Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 That Jam is pretty cute @_@;; I love that stick.
Harem Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Chomite totally stole my idea of a custom stick whenever I get one. ><
Chomite Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 lol Haha, I'm sorry. I just received this stick but has a problem -_- I'm going to send it back so it can be fixed. It looks nice though.
DoublexEdge Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I was going through byrdos website and i still havent come across an answer to my eternal question. Does he do requests where i can just ask him to build me a stick and i pay him however much he charges without competition. When I go to the "joystickz" part all of them look amazing, but there is no price tag and it seems everytime he puts a new one up, it gets bought out the next day. =[ I think it's fine playing with a pad but after seeing all you guys' I want a stick myself. does it really make that much of a difference? because when i try to use analog on my PS2 controller, it is extremly hard, especially with moves like 623 punch or whatever. The only viable reason i can see to buying a pad is so i dont get whooped on at arcades. last year, i went to Fanime (I dont care, it was fun and I admit it, I like animes), and they had a game room with a bunch of arcade machines. Accent core was there and I tried playing but I couldnt adjust to the buttons and couldn't figure out where everything was before getting beaten badly. i wasted like 5$ and I still couldnt adjust to it. Then I just stopped playing. Plus the machine always had people on it, so I couldnt practice bymyself. So anyway, back to the question 2 paragraphs above, is a stick really worth it? Does it make you better? Isn't it just like using a PS2 analog?
AlterGenesis Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Took me a while to post it, but here is my stick.
rtl42 Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 DoublexEdge: playing with an arcade stick is totally different than with a PS2 analog stick because you're using your hand, not your thumb. (at least, that's how i imagine you would play with the PS2 analog stick.)
kaworu Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Took me a while to post it, but here is my stick. That's one of Lauries mods isn't it? http://arcadesticks.co.uk/Welcome.html Probably the best stick maker I've ever seen.
zer0kage Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 YEah what about Paddy HAckers though? I heard from a few guys in London that he does excellent stuff too but they do admit Laurie is tops. I asked since I can give PH a deposit in person prior to Xmas holidays while Laurie seems to be super busy lol.
AlterGenesis Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 That's one of Lauries mods isn't it? http://arcadesticks.co.uk/Welcome.html Probably the best stick maker I've ever seen. Yes. Stick has been awesome for me. I like never want to use another one.
darkpanzer Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Thats a great stick you got there Souseiki. I think its funny how its a modded dc stick but those are awesomeand I understand why its still being used to this day. Looks like I'll be getting me a tekken stick by hori and I will soon be modding that with better parts. I think i'll use Happ comp parts for it.
Hideki Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Pretty cool pic. Itยดs from a hentai anime actually. The background in a dark red would be awesome tough.
Chomite Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Oh god that is so sexy. I would love to put some naked girls for the artwork but unfortunately, I live with mah parents (yes laugh people @_@/), so they will go crazy if they see that.
AlterGenesis Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Oh god that is so sexy. I would love to put some naked girls for the artwork but unfortunately, I live with mah parents (yes laugh people @_@/), so they will go crazy if they see that. You can get it, and only take it out when you play. Hide it after.
Chomite Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 You can get it, and only take it out when you play. Hide it after. It's pain in the ass to change artwork all the time -_-;; I have to lift the buttons/lexan and replace the art. But I suppose I could do that
AlterGenesis Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Well, I didn't mean you should always be changing the artwork, I just meant hide the stick when you're not playing with it.
Circuitous Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Use static-cling black bars to censor it.
Chomite Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 LOL! haha. I guess I can position my artwork in a way that I can censor away the tits and important parts...This talk is getting really sexual here. Let's stop. XD Does anyone have TK5 10th Anniversary stick modded? I want to mod mine but I heard you need to get a dremmel thingy to makes holes bigger or something...I was hoping to see the pictures and get an idea.
Teyah Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 If I had custom art on my stick, it would say "LOOK UP AT THE SCREEN YOU NUB" in big bold letters.
